the plot of the episode 4x03 says "The guest lead for the episode is Beth, who contacts the CBI when her seven year old son goes missing. She's a former client of Jane's and is convinced he can uses his psychic power to find the child..." so I guessed Jane would start to work with the CBI :\

Although I am kinda scared at what Lisbon will think considering that bruno heller wrote "[and to some extent] Lisbon and Jane will start questioning his sanity."

The Mentalist just isn't that kind of show, even the actors themselves have stated that they just don't have that kind of relationship and that people only focus on the 'sexy vibe' two characters have.

When Jane asked "Trumpet?" he was trying to figure out what instrument Lisbon played in high school. Hope that clears any confusion. He'd been at it all through the episode with his usual sneaky tenacity, trying to get the answer when she was off-guard.
I never really liked the song "More Than Words".
Hope Jane and Lisbon do get together. She knows he loves her, he's all but admitted as much.

This is my favorite Jane/Lisbon scene. My favorite part is when she gives him that devilish smile right before she says "no funny stuff" and he just groans.
