I was at Prophecy, and I regularlyu visit the Sheraton and find myself having the same feelings. Those conference rooms will never be the same to me again... I seriously don't think i'll ever be able to set foot in the place without thinking of Prophecy.

i wasnt at prophecy but i do go to anime conventions which are pretty damn close to the things you'd do at a HPcon, so i got teary eyed and all too. Such memories....I feel sad though that we all feel the nostalgia because it might make you sadder.
