are you kidding me? Have you not played any other Mario spinoff? It's a MARIO game for crying out loud? What did you expect? For Mario and Luigi to wear swimming trunks while doing the swim event? Anybody with a brain knows that little logic exists in the Mario universe.

@JEdw16 Sorry, but not all of us can be sonic fans. Daisy and waluigi showed up before vector and blaze so it's natural for them not to know who blaze or vector is.

I've played the DS game, but I really didn't like it much. I think it felt awkward using the stylus to charge up before the startup of an event. The only event I really liked was table tennis. The Winter Olympic Games wasn't that much of an improvement. I would rather stick to the Mario Kart and Tennis games. Those are more fun.

wow, being a swimer myself. i got goosebumps when i found out there was a swimming event. there are only like two games that have swimming in it.

i think a swimming game with the wii motion plus accessory, and a lower than normal price tag would be awesome. All 4 strokes would be included in the game, and the starts and turns would also be part of the game, ussing motion controls. if your a swimmer, tell me this aint a good idea.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@masterminded78 not true in game wise it depends,in sonic unleased you could go up to 3,000mph i went faster in there, but to see their true speed you have to go read the comics it shows how sonic ran past the speed of light, um idk what power up your talking about but not everything is in the game, and plz tell me what it is

@Gokan407 Well it's a type of power up in Super mario bros 2 where if you get that plant power up (Not the flower) then mario goes much faster. However, It's a long time since I've played any games since my addiction to computers so I screwed up. Yes, Sonic does go faster than mario...I guess the game gave Sonic crappy shoes to make him go slower or something I don't know.

i wasnt looking for this video but i do have to say that every game review is an opinion but for some reason peoples opinions that are what others would call "official" seem to sway to the votes of people disliking a game because someone famous didn't like it, the games "mechanics" were fine... i mean what would you expect them to do for certain events? I mean in pole vault they actually show the broken down mechanics of how it works in Real Life Minus running and all i personally like this game

@jibberman he must not be running at full speed. If sonic broke the sound bearer (entering mach 1, the speed of sound) that'd make the race too easy :P sonic and shadow could easily win the running portion of the game. that's probably why sega had to dub down their speedy characters to be running at the same speed of mario >.>

oh, you have to get a bunch of wires and outlets and crap, its actually sorta expensive. Im pretty sure theres TONS of videos out there too that will show you how
