how do you put the batteries in?

They go in on the bottom. Right below where the chains go through. Normally this takes 6 D batteries, but I mod them so they work off a rechargeable battery setup out of a tokyo Mauri p90 airsoft clone. It makes for a longer lasting, and more powerful power source, and its far cheaper then buying D batteries all of the time.

well seeing as how i'm a serious airsoft person mabob, dont really know what to call it.............anyways if ur serious about airsoft you buy the legit weapons that are like 300 off of den's trinity (FULL METAL AND WOOD REPLICAS ONLY ON THIS SITE) they have a luger and even an m60 and about the gear, they sell replacemnt parts to fix ur guns with for like 5 bucks

Lol, my vulcan is colored nearly the same way. Only difference is i have some flat grey trip on mine (trigger, switch cover, flip up sight, barrel and muzzle break). I had to use Rustoleum paint from home despot (cause that's all they had) to do the other half, the first half was model car paint from a hobby store that worked perfectly. Needless to say rustoleum sucks for plastic though they claim its multi-surface. What paint did u happen to go with?
