  • were did u buy at?

  • @legomaster1251 We sell these yoyos on the yotricks website.

  • must have a subscribe

  • what has to be the best metal yoyo? dv888 or metal drifter?

  • @kaylay623 They don't really compare... the DV888 is a much better yoyo, that's why it costs so much more than the metal drifter. However, if you are just getting into string tricks you may find the metal drifter easier to use because it has a smaller bearing.

  • Whenever I throw my breakaway it either 25% of the time does a ufo thing or 75% of the time it does a sideways around the world or something like that plz help!

  • @DigitalAgeStudios It sounds like you are sometimes holding the yoyo backwards in your hand. If the yoyo is not in your hand properly then when you attempt this trick it will often go into a UFO. If you don't know what I mean do a youtube search for:

    Learn to Throw a yoyo

and watch our video about throwing the yoyo. In that video we show you how to properly hold the yoyo, and if you hold the yoyo properly you should do better with the breakaway.

  • thx so much i can throw it perfectly now :)

  • whenever i do a straight throw in my breakaway it always into a UFO type thing can u help?

  • @anoitedn94 It is possible that you are holding the yoyo backwards in your hand. Make sure to check before you throw the yoyo each time that you are holding the yoyo properly.

  • hi, whenever i throw my yoyo to do the breakaway it loses spis as soon as it leaves my hand.

    Please help me

  • @BuNzOfStEEL61 It sounds like your throw is not straight, so as the yoyo sleeps the string hits against the side of the yoyo and the friction slows it down. This is normal when you begin this trick. All I can say is keep practicing and work on straightening out your throw.

  • What yoyo is that?

  • @x1jaykay1x It is the Luminator by Peter Fish. You can get it at YoTricks.

  • I have the yoyofactory whip and I can't seem to get a good bind after my breakaway do you have any tips

    Respond please

  • @unforgivenkd The whip is a good yoyo for learning to bind. Check out our video:

learn how to bind an unresponsive yoyo

and that should help you figure things out.

    Hope it helps!

  • my failure to do a proper breakaway was the reason i gave up yoyo as a kid. this method is the reason i picked it back up! much thanks for posting.

  • Is the F.a.s.t. 201 good for tricks?

  • @Huybui32 Sure, its not a bad yoyo. It makes a lot of noise which drives me crazy, but if you don't mind that it is a descent yoyo. If you like that kind of yoyo I prefer their spinstar yoyo. It seems to work much better.

  • hi whenever i try to pull the yoyo back into my hand in midair it won't budge i've got a dominator yoyo plz respond thank u

  • @SingingsMyMiddleName It sounds like the bearing needs to be lubricated. If you are using a ball bearing yoyo (like the Dominator) and it does not come back to your hand when you try to pull it back, this is most likely the problem. You can use any type of synthetic lube for the bearing. We recommend Super Lube which you can get at YoTricks.

  • Hey I wanted to know something.. I have a boomerang yo-yo and I tried to sleep with it and it wont stay down.. it comes right back up.. it has auto return. PLz respond.

  • @megacool2002 I have never used a Boomerang yoyo, but if it is like other auto returns it will not sleep unless you throw it with enough force. You need to throw these kinds of yoyos very hard if you want it to sleep. It is also possible that the string is on the yoyo wrong, or the parts on the inside of the yoyo are in backwards. Either of these things could affect how it is sleeping.

    Hope this helps!

  • lol :D i just have to say i love your videos and i was very suprised to find that i did the breakaway your way thanks for all the tutorials

  • @CrazySuperZebra Thanks for the support!

  • I think the other way its not so much twisting your body, but turning your head to keep your eye on the yoyo. I'm trying to do it your way; its seems harder to me. I'll keep practicing.

  • thanks

  • Thank you so much, I never knew how to throw a breakaway without looking like an idiot until now! I was taught the wrong way and used that way for so long but this way isn't so bad, and it's pretty easy to switch to. Thanks.

  • Since childhood (1995) I could never do a clean breakaway. Now that I've seen this different kind of throw rather than the sideways muscle throw, clean breakaways and trapezes are cake. I dub this the "Doorknob Throw" as it feels like you're twisting a doorknob.

  • Your technique helped! Twisting my body sideways to breakaway was becoming a hassle, especially with my fixed axle yoyo that kept coming back up!

PS: nice video cams. The slowed down FPS helps in following along!
