  • Wonderful cover of a great song !

  • I get goosebumps when I hear this song... That Sax <3

  • Tim Capello was naked during this scene in The Lost Boys. He was wearing nothing but a studded belt and chains hanging off it. Everything below the waist was painted purple and a bit of blue

Go back and watch the concert scene in the movie, and prepare your mind to be fucked.

  • Sax man

  • I still belive, that vampire are bloodthirsty monsters who want to rip our throats out.

    R.I.P. Corey Haim.

  • @vigo894 Not rly only some of us >;)

  • Wonderful track, it give's power!

  • this plays when chuck norris looks at you from across the room.

  • It`s music and movies such as this that will remain cult classics and that sadly we`ll never see the likes of again...

  • @casper123

WoW, me too. I use the mirror tho. Why? You may ask/ that easy. Because I still believe! ;-)

  • whenever i hear this song i wonder if it's weird to pretend i too am shirtless with a greased up body playing a sax? (and the hip movements?)

  • :p the lost boys was on all week watched it all week :p good movie never gets old good song (Y) Oh and don't compare twilight to such a classic vamp movie SMH

  • there is a thing called jumping off a bridge at gun point wanna practice

  • is this an alto saxophone or a tenor saxophone???

  • I love the sound of the saxophone

  • <3 this song

  • Its a magnificent song and lyrics.

  • Why isnt this on iTunes?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jarrodcarter1 it is, lost boys soundtrack, one catch! you have to buy the whole album!!

  • I STILL BELIEVE

  • you know why Twilight sucks? it has many reasons, but the one that stands out more than any, is the fact that the Twilight series doesn't have a topless greasy sax player

  • Heard this for the first time on Ron & Fez on Sirius 197/XM 202, and it is truly an amazing song. I think the sax makes the song damn there epic.

  • Tim Capello MADE Lost Boys

  • Not meaning to rain on every ones picnic this song is talking about Jesus think about it listen its also the same with cry little sister the only non christian song was people are strange listen to the music take in every word its a major turn off

  • @MrZodiacify How is it raining on anyone's parade to point that out? And technically, it's about persevering for what you believe no matter what the obstacles in your path; it just happens that the man who wrote it is a Christian. The song could be sung by the Apostle Paul; "turned and tossed upon the waves," for instance, could refer to any of his sea voyages.

  • @MrZodiacify so what?

  • I want to get ass raped to this song :D :D :D :D

  • Its a shame this song was kind of in the shadow of cry little sister from the movie, this is a great song too!

  • My all-time favorite movie AND song I STILL BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The Lost Boys kicks the arse out of arses that have been kicked!

  • 6 people stopped believing

  • Because of this movie and others like it, I have no pity for vampires. Vampires want to kill humans, not romance them. If one came for my throat, I'd shove a wooden stake through it's heart, and dump a bottle of Holy water on it's corpse.

  • @vigo894 Finally, someone who realizes that vampires (though nonexistent) are nothing but walking corpses who regard humans as food.

  • I wish I was born in the Twenties so I could kill some Japs in WWII

  • @kyle19191 BET YOU WOULDNT SAT THAT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

  • music artists in the 80's where sheer geniuses !

  • Bad Jam! <3 this!

  • twillighte sucks compared to lost boys because the vampires dont go to a high school

  • @deadknightxz Pretty lame reason.

  • The Lost Boys...when vampires still ate humans!

  • I love The Lost boys and this song. It's awesome when you see a good film with good music in it also.

  • i wanna fuck a hot vampire chick to this song! 24 years since this great movie came out and I still believe! RIP Corey Haim.

  • lost boys kicks the shit out of twilight any fucking day of the week. i wish twilight would just die. I STILL BELIEVE !

  • Where's my sax....and my body oil so my muscles are pronounced lol. Love that movie

  • aw fuck me this song rocks.

The Lost Boys is one of the best movies ever. so sexy, I even have a Lost Boys t-shirt....

  • i play this song every time i get out of the shower and dance to it booty ass naked. also the lost boys beats the crap out of the twilight series. amazing vamp movie with amazing saxaphone scene

  • @DsLxicDragonite Ah, of course, THAT'S what Bela Lugosi's "Dracula" (and every Dracula picture ever made) was missing: a saxophone scene.

  • @MaskedMan66 HAHAHA hell yes. the movie was good.... but a saxophone woulda made it AMAZING!!!!! i want to drink ur blood!!! *saxophone plays in the background*

  • @DsLxicDragonite LOL Then Drac looks off camera and shouts, "Knock it off, Renfield!" The sax stops and you hear Renfield say, "Er, heh-heh, sorry, Master!"

  • @MaskedMan66 lmao that right there, would turn greatness into hbgfsbgkjh fucking fantastic!!!

  • @DsLxicDragonite "Hbgfsbgkjh?" How, that's interesting: you've presented an abbreviation whose acquaintance I have not yet made. What do it mean?

  • @MaskedMan66 hbgfsbgkjh means..... well its more like a way to show that im spazzing out haha. other than that it has no real meaning xD

  • @DsLxicDragonite Ah, fair enough! Thanks, I nearly bruised my brain trying to figure our what the heck it could all stand for, especially as there aren't any vowels.

  • @DsLxicDragonite word on the twilight thing man

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, because a topless, oily, saxophone-playing bodybuilder wearing bright pink skin-tight pants is (somehow) less gay than Twilight! lol

  • @nervmeister

its the 80's fool.....and that song and the lost boys will always be better than the twilight series...GTFOH

  • @nyblusaiyan

Calm down. I agree with you.

  • @nervmeister If I agree with you does it count as agreeing with him!?!?!?!?

  • makes me want to groove

  • one of the greatest movies ever featuring one the the gayest scenes involving a saxaphone ever.

  • @mmmcannabis22 lmfao

  • @mmmcannabis22 well thanks for letting me know........see......I'm heterosexual, so I have no idea what's gay and what's not, and I need you gay guys to keep me informed.

  • Oh yeah,,,i think i have this burried in the depths of my computer somwere

  • I was brought here by tvtropes to be honest, and thanks to that, now I can't stop listening to the song! ><

  • .... I'll Love this Song .... It Shows me : i've you are still belive ... A better Time comes in the future for every People in the World ...!!!

" just still belive " it's the only thing you must think about it !!!

  • @unshutopic1 just creeps me out a lil that a guy that big is playing the sax >.>

i fugerd he would be the guy in the background lifting weights haha

  • @MrImamagician I haven't seen the picture, but did the guy look like Coana? If so, then he worked with Tina Turner on her songs for "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome."

  • @MaskedMan66 Yes, the dude looked like Conan which is why it creeps me out so much.

  • Love this song. Even though is about God, it still can be used as other motivation.

  • @DarrellPeel *shakes head* "Even though is about God." Like there's something wrong with that.

  • makes me wanna learn the sax!! sexual instrument right their

  • I still believe!

  • I looove it my favorit joint in the whole movie star was magical in that seen,,,*

  • 4 people no longer believe

  • Best song IN THE WHOLE MOVIE!

  • @MrImamagician ....hell yeah...This guy was jammin big time.

  • i wasn't even born in the 80's and i know more about it than my parents :/

  • LOST BOYS MOVIE NEVER TO BE FORGOT BEST EVER!

  • the guy in the movie scene is it actually his song or is he an actor?

  • @DAEAJ1 tim cappello its the actual person who's song it is :-D

  • why couldn't i have been a child of the 70's... i'm 16 and have to listen to my peers playing Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus.... the world really is ending, but i still believe in good movies and good music!

  • @indiepoos SAME HERE! i loveeeee 60s through 80s. when i tell peeps bout john kennedy or lost boys, or back to the future, or outsiders their all like WHAT THE HELL R U TALKIN BOUT!? it sux :(

  • @ComeTogether365 i know exactly hwat you mean haha, I LOV BACK TO THE FUTURE lol i'm a bit of a nerd for it hahahha xx

  • @ComeTogether365 Sad, isn't it? We have the Internet now, and all these people have to do is Google those names and FIND OUT what all those names mean. But are they doing that? No, they can't be bothered.

  • The true vampire archetype may be dying, but I still believe.

  • the lost boys instant classic

  • i miss what movies use to be, people use to be able to act, not so much anymore.

  • this is just the best.....nuff said....

  • classic

  • I'm not being ironic at all; this song is fucking GREAT.

  • The 80's sure did love putting sax in their rock back then. :) Love it!

  • @xangelfshx yes they did, we need more of that today!

  • Why do we must suffer Twilight movies when directors made movies like this in 80´s? I hate Hollywood :(

  • @rgsrgs Who's forcing you to watch "Twilight?" There are a lot of direct-to-video vampire movies of the caliber of "Lost Boys"; just explore the shelves at Blockbuster.

  • @MaskedMan66 you're wrong and dumb. shame on you for sullying such a fantastic film. shame. on. you. same caliber as lost boys direct to video? You are stupid and obviously don't understand anything.

  • @beetlegoose Aww, did I hurt your widdle feewings?

Now chill out and let me 'splain something to you.

Since you're of such monumental intelligence, you'll no doubt be able to understand that the term "direct-to-video" does not automatically mean "low quality." There are films-- of all genres, not just horror-- of very high quality indeed which go straight to video because there is a market for it.

Bottom line: I was paying "Lost Boys" a compliment.

  • @MaskedMan66- since you are a monumental douche and have horrible taste in movies, you'll no doubt be able to understand that there are very few, if any, direct to video horror movies. you are retarded. I "scour the shelves at blockbuster everyday." How is saying that there are movies the same caliber as Lost Boys a compliment? You did hurt my widdle feewings and for it you should die in a box.

  • @beetlegoose Okay, maybe you aren't able to understand that a direct to video movie can be very well-written, well-acted, and possessed of top-rate production values.

You are stuck in the paradigm of thinking that "direct-to-video" means poor quality, when I've already explained (twice now) that it doesn't.

  • @MaskedMan66- I'm not stuck in anything, i understand that there is a stigma regarding direct-to-video movies, I also understand that plenty are of good quality. It's just that when looking at direct-to-video action/horror movies, not dramas/indie's, the fact remains that most of them suck balls. I mean ones in the same vein as the Lost Boys... If you are aware of ones that go against this stigma please enlighten me, because up til now i cannot find one that touches LB especially direct to vid

  • @beetlegoose I grant you I saw it many years ago, but I recall a vamp movie that really delivered the goods (by which I mean a good story and good performances). It was from the production company Full Moon Entertainment, makers of mostly schlocky stuff, but whose film series "Puppet Master" has its own cult following.

The movie I'm talking about had the rather silly title "To Sleep with a Vampire," and the falsely titillating premise of "stripper meets vampire."

    (continued)

  • @beetlegoose What the flick turned out to be was a very well-written, contemplative piece which presented a compassionate vampire, Jacob, listening to a young woman, Nina, who was making money by the only means open to her in order to get to where she could have visitiation rights to her little son.

That's probably not your cup of tea, but nevertheless it is an excellent vampire flick with a surprise ending and solid performances throughout, particularly by Charlie Spradling, who plays Nina.

  • the Lost Boys...now that's a truly awesome vampire movie

  • @80sfanfreak No kidding.... Best vampire movie of all time.. Great music in it, and it truly captured the underworld in the way that I picture it would be... Bunch of horrible vampire movies have followed in it's footsteps.

  • 4 people are either blind and missed the like button, or have no taste in music at all

  • this is a good ass song

  • ANARCHY ROX!!!! xx

  • Lost boys was such a bad ass movie and the scene in the movie with this song was bad ass.. where Michael first sees star

  • This is the BEST song, ESPECIALLY because it's about our Good Lord & Savior Jesus Christ !!!

  • @SentFrom777

What makes you think its about jebus, just because the word "believe" is in there?

    SentFrom666

  • @lisatee0x Nnoooo. It's about Jesus because it has numerable references to things in the Bible such as when Jesus went into the wilderness and was confronted by the devil after fasting for forty days.

and that's 777 to you !!! Get it right...

  • @lisatee0x The name's Jesus; just because you're not a Christian doesn't mean you can't get the man's name right. I'm no Buddhist, but I can spell Siddhartha.

Besides, the band who originated this song, The Call, are Christians, and in fact the subtitle of this song is, "The Great Design," referring to God's ultimate plan.

  • @SentFrom777 Yeah! and the whole movie is about how Jesus fights vampires with water guns filled with holy water!...No? ah ok, It doesn´t make any sense too... ¬¬

  • @rgsrgs It's an odd choice of a song for this movie, to be sure.

  • @SentFrom777 no.. its not.

  • @BriTheEquestrian YEAH !!! IT IS !!!!! read you Bible yourself and find out.

  • @BriTheEquestrian 'Tis, actually. The song could easily be the theme for the Apostle Paul on his travels.

  • LOST BOYS for ever. super kick ass 80s song

  • I STILL BELIEVE......

  • cool message,

  • They just don't freakin' make music like this anymore. This song and thousands of others from the 70s and 80s will live on forever. That rap crap in today's age can't hardly last a year without being burned out and never played again. Long live Classical and Pop Rock!

  • No lord of the rings is the best best movie ever lost boys would be 10 for me or maybe a 5

  • THIS SONG IS SO BADASS> AND THE LOST BOYS IS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER!!!!!!

  • This is by FAR the BEST motivational song I have ever heard. It's classic, ol' skoo, with a LOT of passion. This musician truly loves the Lord. I like the subtle references to the Bible in this. I also love the movie, it teaches good moral values. I love the energy & Love God. Praise The Creator !!!!

  • tune!!!!!! love it well done for the post.

  • Awesome song!!!!.................Tim Cappello is awesome on the Saxaphone, song really makes me feel alive, a good song to to do some serious dancing to.............if I knew how to dance.

  • @RockandRoller2009 dude, just let the music move you , man. if that doesnt work, slam dance.

  • @RockandRoller2009 The great thing about the 80s was you didn't have to know how to dance, just had to know how to throw your body around and always keep that head bangin'!

  • :) always secretly loved this song when it came on in the movie the lost boys.

  • 3 people missed the like button...

  • best song in the movie along with Cry Little Sister................

  • class

  • I like to sing this song when I get to feeling down. God is good!

  • This song is amazing!!! Wish more songs could be like this now a days!!! Its sad that all the new bands are lady gaga and justin bieber... whoever.... this song is a classic and dont think it will ever get old!!! Cheers for uploading this song!!!

  • I also wanted to born back in the 70's or 80's cause this time really sucks nobody cares about something and it's today more dangerous if you got into a fight they always have guns etc and someone will die!! people are today unfair and it's more and more difficult to change things

  • oh my days i gotta LEARN THE SAXOPHONE, HE'S RIPPIN THIS RIGHT UP !! LOVES IT WISH I WAS BORN BACK IN THE 70'S - 80'S !! LOOKED SO MUCH MORE FUN AND MORE FREEDOM !!

  • @kittyWIDklawsXXX

    I know!!!!

The only reason to hate our parents ¬.¬

    Haha, kiddin' ^vv^

  • GOD I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS AGAIN!!!

I thought i would never find this little slice of perfection... this is still one of the most memerable songs to me... from that entire soundtrack.

  • Right now the city of Indianapolis is trying to take our ancestral home. They removed the gutters and then applied thousands of dollars of fines, because the home lacked gutters. This home has had many famous Indiana politicians to visit, because we worked in the community to help those in need. They want this house because of the superbowl in 2012, but I wanted to help train & educate women and give boarding that have lost their way.I don't have the money to fight, but I STILL BELIEVE.Love&Light

  • Love the song and the scene on the movie, thanks :)

  • This was like a one hit, one wonder song years ago.

  • @xWhitexAnihilaterx "One hit, one wonder?" The term is "One Hit Wonder," and it may well have been for this artist, but the band that did this song originally had more hits than this.

  • i love the lost boys too.I think i've seen it like 100 times and never get tired of watching it.I really like watching it on dvd just because i can get to see the whole movie without all the commercials they play on tv.Good job on putting this song on here it does so rock!!! :-) lostboys kicks butt!!

  • truely awesome

  • always has been my belief that everything will be better tomorrow that is being optimistic. good song thanks.......siempre ha sido mi lema creer que todo sera mejor mañana eso es ser positivo. gracias por esta buena cancion.

  • I like the lost boys but i like the remake of cry little sister more then the old version.

  • Dwayne ( Billy Wirth) would make a good Werewolf, since he have that lone wolf look on him all the time, hes my favorite Vampire of all times. They can easily wipe out those sparkling freaks from Twilight.

  • He is talking about how he is a follower of Jesus Christ when Jesus was drivin into exile by Satan for forty days being tempted by the Devil and also how the Bible used a metaphore of your faith and being strong and not to doubt for the doubters are like waves tossed about in the sea. He still believes.... In Jesus.
