i never befour heard french pl singing in latin. interesting. i love and speak both languages, but i never thought it would be pronounced this way. guess we'll never know which latin accent is correct....since it's dead...obviously.

punkrockprincess: yes, Latin is called a dead language, but if anything, the modern language that is most likely the least remote from the old Latin pronounciation is definitely ITALIAN , and certainly NOT English. As for the French, in the LIturgy anyway, they tend to imitate as much as possible the ITALIAN pronounciation (not the English!)
