  • I want one of these so bad

  • My dad owns one the trick is it has a flat bottom and a bilge plug so no water can get in or out at the end you dump water that got trough the cracks

  • i saw one of these just driving around once. a really cool sight.

  • that would make a comfortable fishing boat!

  • I love the anphicar

  • My sister jaime says it's fake... Whadda idiot right? I mean my sister... Not the uploader.

  • Just think, if Ted Kennedy had this car Mary Jo would be alive today

  • I'd have to guess that saltwater would be absolutely terrible for this type of car. Very cool clip though.

  • nothing better in this world than an amphicar in a new hampshire lake!

just need a cheeseburger and a coke and some frankie valli tunes...

  • that house wasnt there before if it was correct me

  • One just sold on Barrett Jackson for $40,000.

  • I'm gathering materials now: A small front-wheel drive, a high-sided boat hull, four tractor wheels...

  • In 1983 I was looking to buy a four seater convertible car to restore. I had £400 to spend, it was a toss up between an Amphicar and a 3000 GT Crayford Capri,

I chose the Crayford as i didn't like the props under the Amphicar,

    ,,,what a fool I was!

  • Heck With Car washes go in a lake

  • That's awesome. these things seem to be very highly prized now. shame, I'd love one

  • we were driving through meredith once and my sister said that a car just drove into the lake and I laughed at her. *sigh* woops.

  • i think i saw it when it was there!!!!

  • you can get a modern equivalent, I think its built in switzerland, VERY expensive tho

  • i saw this car (or a similiar one) at the movie theatre in Harwich MA

  • I never understood why no one will make a modern car like this.. not huge military amphibian vans or tanks but just like a bmw 130d that can swim at a few miles per hour.. i would prefer spending an extra few thousand dollars to have this feature than on sunroof, fancy stereo, etc. think about it more people would enjoy the lakes, and wouldn't need to tow a big boat or jet ski. this would be especially popular in san francisco where people are limited to using canoes or boats to explore around

  • sweeeeeet

  • This must be the one I saw in center harbor launch at one time? MAybe in 05? If not, then there is another one in the area. Very cool ride.

  • Wow that is really the car that I like! I rember when I was a little kid to have seen Santa Claus visiting Dutch, arriving by the North Sea with a lot of cars like this.
