Turbos or forced induction for that matter actually maximizes fuel combustion so you can make the same amount of power with relatively less fuel. But people try to make more power with turbos instead because its more efficient than N/A power enhancement. Truth be told fuel efficiency award winning European engines have forced induction, sometimes both supercharging and turbocharging for the same engine.

I think ford should make a supercar FPV to match Holdens walkinshore car the new that has a 6.0 litre supercharged v8 460 kw 790nm of torque. FPV should just forget there V8 as there main engine and do a 500 KW 1000 nm of tourque 4WD typhoon Yes 4WD ford teritory drive in the front? or something or even 600 kw and make it twin turbo to reduce lag and improve drivability. jut to match and beat holden HSV and price it at 100,000 max. that wud have no problems puting the power to the road.

Pushrod motors are one of the fastest accelerating motors in the world. The vz hsv is quicker than a stock ve hsv and I bet when my car was stock and auto it will easily give a very good run.

i had a R32 gtst, moved to a xr6 turbo, now a BFtyphoon modded, nothing i have come across has beated me yet, alot of people get put off when they hear my 4" dump/3.5 exhaust scream past them, literaly SCREAM, then they stay away, even on the freeway, hsv R8's mallo's wateva the phoon pulls away like crazy, 1000nmT :P fords, people have no idea of what their capable of....yet...

Falcons are American. So are Holdens because they are GMs. Falcons were a car made and sold in America in the 60s. The design was (and still is) assembled here too.
So Ford are American, and so are Holden, because they are GM-owned.

You've got just the right amount of mods by the looks of it. Looks good, sounds great and goes hard. And best of all this engine isn't exported - so we it all to ourselves muhaha. Have you done any 1/4 mile times? Looks like you get a pretty good launch from about 2400rpm - minimal wheelspin.

I was born in Germany and lived there a long time, I lived in the US and now in Australia. every Aussie should do the homework and buy Australian owned and made...and not always cheap cheap cheap..which is mostly chinese. In Germany you can buy ALL car brands from arround the world ( excluding Holden , Proton, Isuzu , Lincoln, Mercury ).
If you want to buy Australian, don't buy Dairy Farmers, Arnotts, Berri , Golden Circle and do some research on what you spend money

F6 is enitrely designed, produced, tuned, what ever you wish to use in Australia and by FPV. No Yank shit at all. afaik only the current BARRA engine is pure Aussie and made in Geelong, Victoria. The BOSS is imported from overseas and put together here. The ZF 6spd auto is from Germany isnt it?
