  • thx man! wow. know how to bottom deal sooooo well ! chapeau!

  • Thanks very much this really helped

  • it is so wrong.. buy jason england's bottom deal and see how it is really done

  • I'm a lefty.

    Please help ?!

  • I just can't do it lol =_= my hands are too small and even holding the deck in that grip is kinda hard for me to give out cards so any other suggestions on how can i do it? >_<

  • i never really like striking the bottom card but good tutorial anyway

  • Thanks!

    I subscribed :-)

  • best bottom deal video!

  • I'm having trouble pulling off cards with my middle finger. I always seem to bring my index finger down to pull cards off because it's easier. Do you think if I do it my way but at a very quick speed no one will notice? Or should I learn your way?

  • I agree re. the straddle grip, however, keep in mind that Vernon mentioned that Dr. Elliott apparently had massive hands, so I would suppose that the unnaturalness of the grip is somewhat ameliorated.

  • @chineseporcupine Yes and I do also have very large hands.

  • @chineseporcupine

Every hand is fdifferrent. I use erdnase grip and use it in real games up to 150 bucks buy in. No sweat, its typical magicians thinking. The grip doesnt even matter. When people are streetsmart they will notice bottom dealing anyway independent of your grip.

  • *Straddle, sorry,

  • The Strattle Grip, in my opinion, is a very unnatural bottom dealing grip. Probably the worst grip.

  • @kittydakat1 I actually think it might help because applying pressure with the pinky on the back of the deck could stop multiple cards coming off, plus I find the pinky gets in the way for some techniques. You might just be saying this because you're not used to holding the deck in that position. This is just my opinion.

  • @magicguitarman100 Yes, my hands are very small, but would laypeople really deal the cards like that? I mean you could probably get away with it, but I don't know anyone who deals cards like this.

  • @kittydakat1 Yeah I definitely haven't seen anyone deal like that. And I have been experimenting with the bottom deal and instead of peeling off cards with the middle finger I actually just put my index and thumb under and clip the bottom card which means I must release all pressure with my other hand,by taking every finger away except my left index and thumb, which is very hard to do in strattle position.

  • good tutorial except you did not explain how your only getting one card to come off the bottom. When I try it seems like several cards come. Would have been much much more helpful if you had gone into detal of the actual move rather then just the grip. meaning where u are applying pressure what if anything are ur other fingers doing to ensure you only get one card from the bottom....

  • @tory3216 practice. You will not be able to do it in a matter of hours with the best tutorial in the world. it comes down to practice.

  • @tory3216 go to theory11, and you'll find the bottom deal tutorial...(techniques: erdnase bottom, erdnase variation, mechanics grip, gene mase grip.... they are natural and easier than this one)

  • @tory3216 Simply put, it is necessary to firmly grip between the index and pinky finger, as they are the only ones available. When fist practicing this move, the inside of my left hand pinky got red and raw from the bottom card being pulled quickly past while the pinky was pushing against quite hard. But if you focus on that, it will help.

  • Ver smooth

  • thanks, good tut

  • sooooooooooooooo much easier to say straddle grip at the start...

  • Great job :)

Thanks a lot for the tutorials!
