i did everything but it didn't work.. now i want to do the platform-tools thing.. only when i right click on computer i can't choose for ''Click on Advanced system settings''. pls help!
Question. I've been having issues getting ADB setup for two days now. I've tried tons of tutorials but haven't had any luck (and I'm not a computer noob). Yours seemed easiest, but I came across a problem right away. When I right click on the SDK zip that I've downloaded and then go to "Open with" I do not have the option to choose "windows explorer." FYI, I'm using Windows Vista.
@MrRodeojones000 It's been a while since I was on Vista and I no longer have a PC with it . It may be named different in Vista. If you're still having issues, feel free to go into our chatroom and we can probably walk through it. I'll put a link to the chatroom in the description
i went through and followed your tutorial, and used the adb fix and i think its working. Only problem is in 'device manager', 'ADB Device' does not come up at all and so in command prompt under 'List of Devices' its blank. Any ideas what might be wrong?
@SaceedAbul Glad to hear you got things up and running! Dont forget to subscribe and like the video. Let me know if there's anything else you need help with in the future!
ok i did every thing and still doesnt work no matter what it says 'ADB' is not a reconized as an internal or external command ... and the usual. I even did the pre adb stuff
@SaceedAbul If you still have issues, click the link that says "Pre-packaged ADB Fix" at the bottom of the tutorial on the webpage. Follow those instructions and you should be good to go :-)
@SaceedAbul Cool.. That mean ADB is installed and working. Now its just a matter of getting it to see your phone. Make sure your phone is on "USB Debugging" mode. If it is and it still doesn't see it, you can try rebooting. If that doesn't work, you may not have drivers for your phone.
You can check by going into Device Manger in Windows and if you see "ADB Device" with a yellow question mark in the list, then you need to get the drivers
@SaceedAbul You should have something called "ADB Device" no matter what. If its installed it just wont have a yellow "?" on it. You might have to look through it though and make sure your phone is plugged in while you look through Device Manager
@SaceedAbul No device is needed to do this. This just sets up ADB on the PC. All you have to do is what the video shows, and then you can plug in your device whenever you're ready.

@WeedKingBigDips Make sure your phone is in debugging mode. If it is, try rebooting it and see if that helps.
