dont bother with the provided window mount. Buy one of those bean bag cradles, which is much more convenient. I used the suction cup mounted holder and it fell off the next day, smashing up the display on my Garmin

its also good if your a delivery driver who has a 3 year old nextar q4-01 gps that he cant update because nextar is such an awesome company they have no fucking updates..im a little salty i had to buy a new gps

i bought the garmin nuvi new at walmart 6 months ago, the volume was getting low, picture was going out and the buttons wasn't working, so i charged it, works again, but no sound. Now i have to send it to the manufacture company cause walmarts warranty sucks. Don't ever buy a gps at walmart, go to costco or best but, they will take care of it right then and there. I know cause i just bought the new garmin nuvi 1490 t model, works awesome!

I jus purchased the Garmin Nuvi 1300 and for some reason i'm not able to turn off the Gps Simulator , Whenever i go into tools and choose to turn it off, it just stays on. So when i actually try to use my Garmin while on te road, it says "Gps is off" The map doesnt show my exact location, on the main screen on the top left corner, its a red X in the middle of the gps signal . Also if i let it sit for a few secs it goes into demo mode. Anyone know how to fix this problem? contact me please.
