I have never flown in an A330 but looking at this video I think its near impossible to have a rough landing.I've been in an AA 767-200 , even though the rear landing gear trucks are faced the other way , it was smooth landing, surprisingly.

I've never seen a bad/rough landing of an A330, and this video just further proves that. In all the videos I've seen of this plane it always lands so gracefully and with such ease. It's such a remarkable aircraft and truly stunning when landing to see something so big with the ability to be so gentle.

In Frankfurt, Lufthansa is using an A346.

The A333 flies for example from Frankfurt to Seattle and retour. Sometimes it depends on how many passengers are going to fly with Lufthansa. If there are less than they expected on an A343 they sometimes use an A333.

I think one of the things that make the a330 so cool, and graceful, are the way the wings are shaped along the fuselage. They bend to grab as much air as they can(I think). It is so cool to watch these land. I only wish there was a place in the Sacramento Calif (USA) area plane spot. But, alas, since 9-11, we have none that I know of. You used to could watch from the rest stop on I-5, but, they have since removed even that. Sad. So, I thank you all who let me watch from here. Thank you.

I flew in the A330-300 (Northwest Airlines/USA) Detroit to Amsterdam, and KLM Royal Dutch A330-200 Amsterdam to Entebbe, Uganda, Africa. Great planes. These touch downs are just beautiful. Especially like the long 'flare' on the first landing... beautiful. NIce Rolls-Royce engines on the UK airlines' planes... we only have Pratt and Whitney and GE engines over here in the U.S.
