OU is the best, you can't play a better team. OU wasn't #1 at the time, but they had the potential to be. They were just inconsistent. Mizzou had the misfortune to play OU on their good days. Had they not, Mizzou probably would have been NC's. OU is the best team you can possibly play, so I don't know what you're logic is there. We also were the only team that got to end KU's undefeated streak, last I checked they KILLED Nebraska. I know KU is overrated, but that's something worth talking about.
Still, if you want some props, win something, win the Big 12 and I will give Mizzou its due...I just don't see that happening, this is your best chance in the foreseeable future, and you ain't gonna do it IMO..

USC was VERY dominant, and they lost. Upsets happen, and you see a lot if you watch a lot of football. Sometimes the refs really fuck up. You're right though, the officiating should not have made any difference, because Mizzou is an amazing team. Of course Mizzou will need luck to beat TEXAS. This year we've been beating up on "slump" teams, plus Illinois. Last year, OU was the only one who could have stopped us.
