  • I'm a wasps supporter and I still believe this was one of the best runs ever, I have to concede this. Big mistake by Johnson to leave him out of the WC squad. One of the best wingers never to play in a world cup.

  • still makes me smile

  • This has to be the best run ever!

  • WHAT A FUCKING TRY!

  • Before he moved to my school my rugby coach taught Simpson-Daniel at sedbergh. His name is Gordon Maclleand

  • Aaah, rugby pre-ELV fuckup. Bliss.

  • 1 of the best games i have watched

  • I love the way he points 'outside' at the end. Classic. JSD!!!

  • i could watch this try all day

  • Nice try but nothing special. I Like JSD and I certainly think he should be a regular in the England squad. However, running around (with resect to the great man) a past his best Lawrence Dellaglio is not terribly impressive.

If you want to see a great break watch Shane Williams' against the scarlets.

  • lmao the commentating's hilarious throughout this sequence of play: 'forrester followed him - hunted him, try again VG, doors shut there, dallaglio didn't know where he was!' lol i wish football commentators could be like this

  • nice quLITY 0.o NAAAAAAAAHHHT AHHA

(BORAT QOTE) I WUDVE EJOYED DAT APART FOR MNTHA CQUALITY

  • 1 of englands best player on the day but is ignored by england selection. he is a match winner with his speed

  • absolutely crushing that james forrester had to retire as well...terribly missed he was destined to be dallaglios successor i think

  • I remember that and laughed so hard

JSD made a complete tit out of Lol

  • jemes is mint he is my uncle along wid mark simpson daniele and cris but he doesnt play anymore and charli will be there soon there brother they went to sedgfield bording school and got me a little trampoleen for christmas

  • great try. was there when he scored that. that's when i started to like him

  • i'm not nor are many of my mates calling for him to play for england, its better for glaws if he and the others don't play for the ****s at twickers

  • I remember that

JSD made a complete titt out of Dallagio :)

  • Wow, no wonder Paterson isn't getting a game.

  • wow! they are reeeaaallly fast! :O

  • Thats why he can't cement a place in a currently dire team. Like you, he fancys himself a bit to much. But he doesn't use cheap insults cast from afar.

  • when did i say he was worth an England starting place? when, in fact, did i mention England?

and if you mean he cant cement a place in the Gloucester line up, i suggest you count the games he's played from the bench....when he's fit, he plays, and is one of the most talented backs in the country, if Rob Andrew could look past his old club, then maybe we'd see more of JSD, but Englands loss is Gloucesters gain

  • the current england management team are treating glos, the english cricket did to the gloucester ond side a few years ago.

i also think that Mr Andrew still hates glos for the azam incident, the big test will be when the big man VAINIKOLO becomes available i like to bet that he won't get anywhere near an england shirt whilst he plays for glos

  • and add the OPTA stats top 2 players from last year, Andy Hazell, who is incapable of having a bad game, and Peter Buxton to the list of players the idiots at HQ wont pick

  • Watching a back run around a forward...not impressed.

  • a forward...and paul sackey...and every member of the wasps backline after 3 minutes of outstanding defence....now go away, learn about rugby, then come back and admit your a huge twat!

  • lmao well said

  • ah thank you!

  • sorry to ruin the hype but i have to go with matrixsenior.. the only players JSD had to beat was dallaglio and what seems to be a second rower. there were NO backs out wide. also he didnt outpace sackey, which is why he passed it off for the other guy to take on sackey and score the try.

  • ok....find the simpson-daniel try vs worcester when he does exactly the same to thinus delport, or the bristol try where he cuts the massively hyped Arscott brothers apart.

as for not outpacing sackey, its called unselfish play and guaranteeing a try for your team!

  • alright alright i wasn't implying he was a bad player. i was just pointing out what i saw in this video. and yes unselfish play, but he still didn't outpace sackey, which was all i was trying to say. all in all im sure he's a great player but i just couldn't understand the hype behind this video.

  • The only reason why he got that far was down to his amazing pace, and vision for what was going on infront of him. He took the option not to kick, chose his gaps and skinned them all apart from the last pass where he's run the pitch and knew it was time to draw in their last line of defence and offload, Skillz!

"All he had to beat was Dallaglio"

making me laugh pal, where u learn how to play rugby

  • a place called new zealand where a forward like dallaglio stands no chance against a back in broken play.

  • what a try

  • Fair play. That was superb.

  • one of the all time great glos tries.... love balders(i think?) pickin bailey up by the scruff of the neck after he scores!!!

poor JB, that will always be remembered as the sinbad try!!!

  • sinbad is a legend glos 4 lyf

  • he is fantastic, im not a fan of either of those two clubs but that was possibly one of the best tries ive seen

  • JSD - absolute genius.
