@fr801: Actually, "Aeris" was just a mistranslation of "Earisu", which is her name in Romanized Japanese. See, the Jpanese language doesn't have any way to create a "th" sound, so the closest approximation is "su". That's why Sephiroth's name in Romaji is "Sephirosu". "Aeris" was never the name she was intended to have.

It's stupid that they had Zack meet Aerith in the exact same identical way that Cloud did, right down to hearing The Voice and everything. Sure Cloud imitates Zack and pretends to be him, but he can't accidentally fall through her ceiling the same way Zack did too. That's a silly coincidence.

@johanner it was much more then that...Jenova(sp?) cells in sephiroth, angeal and genesis turned them evil...remember in FF 7 and the advent children movie...she(jenova) wanted to 'roam the stars on the planet' and she would have achieved this with either trio's bodies as host. ;)

at least that's what I got from the game and the complete version of advent children

when shinra first found jenova, they thought it was an ancient (thats what they were talking about in the reports in the last part)

i think jenova kind of went into the lifestream

this is mostly a running gag for sephiroth, who finds jenova was his 'mother' and becomes childlike half the time after

they were in sector 5...Zack and Sephiroth were in the No. 5 Reactor, and they found Hollander and Zack chased after him...The plave where he falls from would have to be (educational guess) the place where you are that you climb down to from the train tunnels right before you get into the Reactor in the original game....so still no flaws, lol.
