It seems Nokia have released patches to stop these hacks. I have the latest firmware on my N85 and sys\bin is simply not there. I've checked with ybrowser too.

ithink the disconnect here is that thisis not for symbian 6 ver 5 fp 9.4 that is why most of users are not able to find. i found the sys folder coz it is locked by phone so even if u open it by the Y browser ox xplore it will not show u the contents

You guys.. C:sys\Bin isnt hard to find. eithr find it by computer or by cellphone.

By computer:

Go to control panel, and then choose folder settings.

Then enable "show hidden folders" then you should be able to see the C:sys\bin folder. but remember to connect the phone through data transfer and NOT pc suite.

By cellphone you need either x-plore or the y thing (can't rememver what its called)

it isn't really that hard. hope it helped out..

or another way. sign the applications yourself. Easy. Theres many forums, that only wants you to post your (phone thing can't remember) And save the files on phone, download freeSigner™ and sign the application. That is the most safe way. hacking your phone, can be dangerous.

This method won't work on the N95. Check my newest guide (it's on my blog, finestfones, click the link on my YouTube profile page) and use that one, it's compatible with the N85.

You've probably used the wrong version of installserver.exe.

The N95 is Symbian 9.2.

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure on that. If for any reason you have to take your phone in for servicing, just delete and uninstall everything you've done here or hard reset your phone.
