Mistborn Trailer -English Quest 2010

So I was wandering around youtube to see what it had to say about Mistborn, and I was wondering how desperate I would get before I gave up and left, and then I found this. Way to go! I was not expecting something this good. I don't know enough about animation to judge, but the music was great and the voice acting was perfect.

I really liked the soundtrack and the ideas behind this. If it was filmed, or given really atmospheric animation, it would be awesome.

I just had this idea that Emma Watson would make a great vin. If you died her hair black she would basically look like how vin is described in the books, and she has proven herself to be a great actress.

And finally, the god metals. These were thrown in the mix by the Lord Ruler, they are not natural.

Atium lets you see the future for others, and malatium lets you see the past of others. These two metals replace Cadmium and Bendalloy.

Larasium allows anyone to burn it and become a mistborn instantaneously. It's alloys are any mixing of the other allomantic metals, and make you into a misting respectively.

Larasium is added but does not replace any metals.

The god metals can also be alloyed with the other metals to give them enhanced or altered effects, like atium and gold for malatium. Atium can be alloyed with the temporal and mental metals and larasium can be alloyed with the physical and enhancement metals.

Aluminum destroys all of your own reserves, and duralumin makes you use all of your currently burning reserves in one extreme blast.

Then the unknown/little known metals.

Gold lets you see yourself if you made different choices, and electrum lets you see your future (much like atium).

Cadmium lets you "expand" time in a bubble around you making things go faster, and Bendalloy does the opposite.

Chromium makes another allomancer lose all of their metals, and Nicrosil makes them instantly burn the entire reserve of whatever they have burning (like external duralumin)

Ok, so I will end the debate now. The metals are as follows. I'm not going to get into the physical and internal/external metals. Just the metals.

Iron Pushes, its alloy (steel) pulls.

Copper hides your allomancy, and bronze lets you sense allomancy.

Tin enhances physical senses, and pewter enhances physical strength, endurance, and durability.

Zinc enflames the emotions of someone, and brass dulls the emotions.

These are the eight common metals

Actually, there were 3 god metals. Not going to spoil the story so the names are all I'm going to give. Atium and it's alloy, malatium. These replaced two normal temporal metals. The third is larasium (used once in all three books when you know who went under that place and was hurt.... It was a nugget) larasium actually has up to 15 alloys, each being one of the other metals :) so, 4 external metals, 4 internal, 4 temporal (affects time) and 4 enhancement metals.

@Xcallion and then you divide the 8 base metals into the 4 physical metals and then you divide them into the 2 internal metals and the 2 external metals, then you divide those into 1 pushing metal and 1 pulling metal. those rules apply to each group you take those four and and the 4 mental metals each , the 8 high metals divide into 4 enhancement metals and 4 temporal metals, there are three God-Metals but malatium is not one of them. it is an alloy of a god metal but is not one itself

Just for the record Sanderson has announced there will in fact be a Mistborn movie. he made a press release for it on his blog. And when Kelsier explains allomancy he states it has 8 base metals. gold and atium were considered god metals

you guys did an amazing job, my only suggestion to improve is the text at the very end that should say Mistborn look like it says Mistborp at first. That's my only suggestion on how to improve this.
