Nice Triple Play of three great Christmas songs.....I have always thought Bono's line of "Well Tonight, thank God it's them instead of you" in Band Aid is a brutally honest one for the least fortunate that many of us need to remember.

theres PLENTY of ppl like you that say this. but i gaurantee you haven't given a chance to any of their new stuff.

a band cant stay the same forever! they changed right after the Joshua Tree because THEY were getting tired of their own same old same old music. So u2 needed a change and what did they get ? ACHTUNG BABY. Stones will always be the stones. beatles always the beatles. zeppelin always zeppelin.

u2 is the ONLY band to be so versatile in their music and still be the biggest!

I hate how people can't understand that sometimes covers aren't because a band thinks they can do better, but more out of homage. Bono loves John. The numerous Beatles covers and snippets they have played in their time, there is something like 20 John songs, and 2 Paul songs. They have taste.

Just appreciate an amazing singer from an amazing band playing one of the most perfectly crafted songs of all time.
