  • Actually, I realised that I've been using the regular flamethrower (Leons PL00W10.PLW renamed to PL01W10.PLW with my custom animations) with the wrong hand texturing, so sadly, I cannot help you :/

  • @alcaid07 Resident Evil 2 Platinum does not work for this mod. You need Biohazard 2 SourceNext. It was released only in Japan in 2006, but there are torrents available online.

  • I have the Resident Evil 2 Platinum edition but i have no idea how to install the mod together with it can anyone help me the readme doesn't explain anything.

  • @Digga112233: Nope, only the files that were modified will be released. You have to get the BioHazard 2 SourceNext version yourself.

  • @SeiyaK0u I know you're probably focusing on the rooms and backgrounds programing, but i have some questions... what about the game's plot? We all know a little about what was going to happen in the original 1.5, but no clues about deeper plot's details. Do you have your own "Resident Evil 1.5 script" on your mind?

    BTW, i would like to congratulate you with you project. It's amazing, outstanding, there are no words to discribe it. I think that guys like you are the heroes to us, RE old fans!

  • @ResidentEvilArtist: Thank you very much, I will :)! Kendo's AI as actually buggy, because the game think he's Sherry, maybe you could adjust the Ada's animations to suit his model (AFAIK Ada's skirt is considered as a seperate limb so assinging Kendo's model to her animations crashes the game)? If we could make Kendo behave like partner Ada then it would be hell of a lot of fun to play :)!

    Also, thanks for EM10 animations :)!

  • @SeiyaK0u No problem! =) About to make Kendo to behave like Ada, I think you must change his script.. And the animations are secondary, I know how to do it: first you have to extract Ada's animations and analyze how many and which animations are contained on file, and after that give to Kendo the correspondent male animations. -> But keep in mind that if you dont change his script he wont behave like Ada..

    I want to see the new zombie animations that you have made! =D

  • @1AndrewTheWolf: Actually, the Custom Shotgun works better with Elza (Claire), normal Shotgun almost always decapitates the zombie's heads, works perfect on dogs though. AFAIK noone managed to get around the problem yet :/.

  • This looks awesome. I'm loving these 1.5 re-creations. I've seen the video of all the maps with screenshots attached, it sucks we saw so little of the sewers. I did want to ask though, I've seen what looks like an 'autopsy' type room in 1.5, I thought was part of the labs. But I later saw that it was in the police station, and I found that interesting.

    Also, Elza with the Custom Handgun in the gameplay videos, do we know if that was the Calico or the same/a similiar handgun to Leon's from 1.5/2

The autopsy type of room you mentioned is probably what we can see on Dark Biohazard's (Martin Biohazard's) video titled "Resident Evil 2 - 1.5 Rooms" at 3:01 - it hasn't been confirmed as an authentic 1.5 room, but still, it's very cool and I intend to implement it too ;). The custom handgun was exactly the same as Leon's, I made it playable with Calico model since original Calico fired faster then the normal handgun.

  • @SeiyaK0u Well, it's on the 1.5 maps video. Under RE 1.5 Resident Evil 2 beta map description 1:17 in the top center. Due to the look of it, I was surprised that it was an autopsy room for the RPD, rather than an 'experiment' room. But I will look at that video you suggested right there as well. If that is a custom room though, is that what will happen for the rest of the sewers since we didn't see much of them? And so Elza was suppose to find an H&K, or the Browning would of used the parts to?

  • @SeiyaK0u I was also curious about the Roof of the RPD. Ignoring that we don't know where many of the key items were suppose to be placed, do we know what was on the roof for Elza or the roof was just for her to drop off the roof? I've known about Bioflames for a few years, and found out about the 1.5 editing around last year or so, but I am curious still. As well as where the doors below the helipad were suppose to lead? Did one lead to Irons' office, and one to the jail, or we never found out?

  • great vid as usual. Is the background editing possible so the player wont appear over them, or is it very hard to do ?

  • @scarface1224md: I think I've explained it before, it's possible but requires a part of the BG to be cut, saved as TIM file and finally set it properly to appear before the 3Dmodels and overlap perfectly the actuall background image. I'm going to do this once I set up the boundaries perfectly, otherwise, I would have redo the process over and over again whenever I wanted to change the boundaries.

    Just a question like that, when you will finish the mod, you will give it as a download for the PC Version of RE 2?
