Now the STUPID thing is one day you might kill that horse.... By him landing like that I have seen alot of horses DIE doing that same thing.... You might just want to be cautious to what you are doing and teaching your horse. Who knows one day you might sell him/her and the new owner accidentally does the cue for him to do that and the new owner has no idea what to expect and he/she could get really hurt and then they think the horse is bad or dangerous and sell him to a slaughter house....

This isn't training; it's abuse. And to claim a horse won't do something if it doesn't want to is ridiculous. Apply a severe enough bit or strong enough pressure of another sort, and the horse will do whatever it takes to get away from it.

The horses are beautiful and look very willing, they dont have fear or pain in their eyes. They have a trust that most people only wish to have with their horses. Loved when the horse was lying on his back and the man was standing over him petting him, awsome!

All the comments about being abusive. Pretty sure these guys are trained to do these stunts so they do not get hurt. People used to actually trip horses and kill them in movies, such as 1925's "Ben Hur."

Plus I've never heard of a horse dying from rear up and coming down. So go qq on another video. Now i don't agree with the falling over stunt, but it's what they do in the movies you enjoy watching.

@thefirstfultron personally, i ride western at heart. its 1 of those things that i was born 2 do, just like 4 others, its jumping horses or wood carving, etc. but it just seems like everything involving stuff like that... idk... i just don't like the way that it's taught. maybe u guys do it differently, but from other things i've seen, its just downright abusive and cruel. i dont know ur methods of training, but ur horses do look willing. that's an upside. but it just looks dangerous, even still

ok i have one major problem with this video. that white horse the one they taught to fall over, that's very harmful to the horse. one they're cranking the horses mouth heavily which could case oral bruising and cutts. two when he/she falls it's hind leg slips out not only possibly breaking it's leg but causing a broken fetlock or cannon bone. and three also when he/she falls he/she is hitting her/his side so hard it could easily break a rib or cause lung damage. not safe at all.

All of the stunts here are safe for the horses, they do them with training and work. The horses arent forced to do these things otherwise they would protest, buck rear or pig root. If they had felt uncomfortable they would have done this or plainly refused to do it. Its incredible what a trainer can teach a horse. If you dont like this and you watch robin hood, gladiator, prince of persia type things then you dont realise the stunts are partly real and partly edited.

For Movies, Mummy, Robin Hood, Hildalgo, etc.... It doesn't hurt the horse otherwise they wouldn't do it. Example: Horses respond to pressure, to go left pull left, when the horse turns left ease up on the pressure and the horse learn to turn left when that pressure is exerted. They are willing creatures to learn, much like big dogs.......and dogs are trained to sniff bombs, drugs, and guard humans isn't that dangerous as well?
