axl didnt fire either slash or duff. they both quit as they have repeatedly stated in interviews and as slash confirms in his book.

you couldnt hear Bumblefoot's solo here because the organizers of the festival were messing up and the sound quality suffered from technical issues. axl repeatedly tried to get the organizers to fix it and eventually gave them a piece of his mind. for this he got chewed out in press reviews for being difficult.
