@SergiuHellDragoon Perhaps, but then you have to do that with every post. With CSS, you update the font and color in one place, and it applies throughout your web site.
I'm having a little problem. By default my "Featured Stories" & "Editors Picks" stories are the same on my home page (using Arras of course). Can anyone help? I'd actually like to decide which stories go under Editor's picks but can't figure out how to do it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
@bhabeney I think you need to change the categories that you allow to appear under 'Featured Stories' and 'Editors Picks.' Go to Arras > Theme Options > Home tab. Then look at the 'Sticked Posts / Categories' drop-down menus and see which categories are selected. My guess is you're letting your 'Editors Picks' menu include the stories that are also showing under 'Featured Stories.' Of course, I'm assuming you're familiar with the concept of categories.
@zoomcaraudio Hmmm, do you mean the images for the slideshow and the posts? I believe there are optimal dimensions for the images. Can you send a link to your site? Alternatively, check out the help forum for Arras. I've used it a lot, and there's probably a discussion thread that has a solution to your problem.
@RyanTutorialzZ Try this: Menus > Create a menu item using Custom Links, Categories, or Pages > Click 'Add to Menu.' Then click and drag the menu item in the location or order you want. Then click Save Menu.
Question for you man. Would you know of any possible way where I can the slideshow feature in Arras to display images and content that I preset for it instead of featured posts or pages?
@sanglucci Good question. I think this would require you to tamper with the underlying PHP, since the option is not built into the theme's backend controls... unless the newest version of Arras addresses this. Or, maybe you can apply a category to your post and then tell Arras which categories should display in the slideshow, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Sorry. Wish I had a better answer. I would post to the Arras user forum. They're pretty good about responding quickly.
Thanks... this is great. I am using Arras, but am not finding the user.css under the Stylesheet section in Editor. Any ideas on how I can assess it? Thx.
@sso00oss Hmmm. That's odd. When you go to Appearance > Editor, can you see the link for style sheet? The user style sheet should be right beneath that.
Another possible explanation... do you know what version of the Arras theme you have? They just released a new version a few days ago, so things might be arranged differently. Might want to post your question on their official forum.
Wouldn't it be easier to edit the post and chage the font and the colour of the text?
