@Tfmusicmaker - Hey man, Thanks for checking out the vid. To answer your question: All my old home cover version vids were recorded live, both my vocal & guitar. I recorded them straight onto camera. I used backing tracks that were mostly Bass & Drum tracks with no guitar. After I finished recording. I'd seperate the audio to clean up the sound a bit. Then I would match it to the edited video, & thats it.

As long as it sounded & looked ok, I was happy.

the only thing i can say is that when you do a cover of a song, you make it your own, you are trying to hard to sound like kurt (and look like him) but you can clearly play the guitar and know your stuff, my advise would be to make it different... who needs someone trying to sound like kurt when we can listen to the real deal
