You get Tremor in the Madra Catacombs and it's to the west.

The key to this battle is training. The best strategy can crumble if you don't have the moves/health to back it up. Using defensive moves and Sleep are crucial, and taking out Briggs' men are crucial. Once they are out of the picture, hammer them with whatever you've got. Once you have Ragnarok for Felix, you should be ready, but I waited until I had Quake Sphere just to be safe. Also, using items like Oil Drop and Weasel Claw (found in the desert) can be very helpful.

@restorecop99 Weird, by this point in the game I could just power through Briggs and his crew. I don't think I ever used Sleep bombs or the like. I mean yeah, the fight was tough, but I very rarely used status spells in the game, and it wasn't exactly hard.

I actually prefer the first game over the second game. The second game may have more content, but the first game was what brought me into the series.

Plus I like Isaac a lot more than I do Felix.

You learn reveal by completing the puzzle over at Air's Rock.

You can get Tremor by equipping the Tremor bit found in the Madra Catacombs.

You have to make sure that Sheba has enough Djinni and she has only Jupiter Djinni. Next, train her to about levels 12-15. She should have it by then.

it's a good tactic to sleep Briggs and his sea fighters, briggs is a bitch at calling friends and the sea fighters are healing him quickly.

It would have been more effective if you had Felix cast Ramses; his higher Earth power would deal more damage than Jenna's Fire with Zagan.

It would have but I had already set the battle up to where I had Jenna set for summoning. This way, I don't have to waste an extra turn to use the other Earth Djinni to summon Ramses.

Besides, Ramses and Zagan are both Level 2 summons so they do just about the same amount of damage; especially when Briggs and his men are weak to every element.

She learns it around level 12-13.

Yeah, it's at level 12. I just ran around outside Alhafra until my party was level 12 then I went to fight Briggs.

Nice. I had trouble with this guy and his lackeys and I think I was Lvl.14 at that point. It took me a few tries and I ended up just killing his lackeys before him so he wouldn't abuse Echo Cut with them. I never had any of the other Djinni besides the 4 I got and I didn't really think of using Sleep/Delude...

Yeah, once you understand the mechanics of the game you will start thinking of the Sleep and Delude spells as your best friends. I have! XD
