People should have sued officers individually for violation of their civil rights (I'm frankly surprised that they didn't). FYI - there is no immunity for police officers when they willfully violate and individuals civil rights (not that this is going to be easy to prove, but...). In the case of New Orleans, police officers should have been questioning whether they had been given an unlawful order by their superiors to seize weapons from law abiding citizens.

One cop, ONE cop, supposedly paniced and in effort to subdue take away the gun, hit a lady in the face. I do not think all the cops around should have been slaughtered because one cop did a horrible think. I think only those who committed a crime should pay the price; I'm kinda a radical that way.

The police officer should have not hit the lady. I highly doubt she was hit multiple times if at all (we have nothing but her word on that and in the video it appears that he forced her down, but it is possible she was hit several times), but even if the officer did hit her, that is one guy.

The police officers violated the constitution. They wouldn't even give receipts. They smashed their shit to pieces. That is straight theft. It doesn't matter if they were ordered to. They could have refused those orders. The police all rush to the law abiding non-flooded areas while letting the violent looters run wild and somehow they aren't guilty of anything? Every single one of those "officers" violated rights guaranteed to these people under the constitution.

People have a right to defend themselves and their property, and if the police try to take that right away, then the people should defend themselves. If the people want to prosecute the police for their crimes, that is also fine and good. However, if you are saying that everyone who violates the constitution should be slaughtered, you are talking about just about everyone. Every member of the federal government and most of the states. Every police officer who enforces gun laws. Every taxpayer?

Income tax is not in the constitution. The government is appointed representatives of the people. Therefore every individual who submits to an anti-constitutional system is supporting it.
Perhaps revolution is coming. If so, I will choose my side and fight for it, but I will not be eager or happy when it comes. It is a last resort. Agreed. My point is not to justify the actions of the police. I just don't think that a whole group should be slaughtered in an apparently vigilante type round up. If someone wants to bring them to a court of law, that is one thing, but I do not like vengeance. Defense on the other hand is fine, and if someone killed to defend their second amendment rights, that is a different.

I would have like to seen 60-70 cops/ national guardsmen shot dead trying to disarm citizens. Don't Fuck the police, they (usually) honestly attempt to enforce what, largely, is an incomprehensible crap heap of laws that have an enormous ability to get everyone in trouble for something everyday. You will never get a 100% uncorrupted force, however not all of them are corrupt either. Sanity lies somewhere in the middle.
