This song is amazing. I am a life long Cult fan. The first song I ever heard was fire woman when I was in 7th grade. Since then I have loved their music. Ian Astbury is one of the best singer/front men ever. I found this song a few months ago and it has become my favorite. I am 34 years old and I signed up for an account just so I could comment on this song and to tell you how much I love this video you made. Classic vintage footage. The Cult remains one of the most under-rated bands ever
thank you so much for posting this track, i've been a fan since the sdc days & was lucky enough to see them again last year in london, still amazing even though ian was poorly.
I have been a dedicated follower since the early 80's when they were known as "The Southern Death Cult", 37 shows, and this band is by far over-looked and under-rated. They continue to grow and try a new sound all while keeping their own style and essence. The words to their songs make you think, they encapsulate somethings so right that they become very personal and mean something to you. Almost 30 years since they entered the scene and they don't age, yet their spirit is timeless in itself.

... I know I feel like I can relate to some of the sorrow I feel in the music, because of the way I have felt in certain atmospheres of people. It even brings me to a sad memory in my life.
This music has so much meaning for me... since my mom was full blood Native American. We never got to get to know her direct biological family, she was most likely stolen, so, these lyrics hit the life that I know my brothers and I struggle through every day, especially when these pagan rituals come by...
I was feeling low off a Sacred High. Dirt was caked on my skin, flesh and my hide. I'm not gonna quit, I'm not gonna die. Or wallow in the mud, no fucking suicide. I don't laugh about it. It's what really happened. I'm a filthy dharma bum. But not incincere. I don't laugh about it. It's what really happened. I'm a filthy dharma bum. But not incincere. Round and round and round and round we go. Same old filthy dance, same old show.
Sometimes ya just gotta go And do your thing Get your wings Fuck with things that you don't do Fuck with things that you can't be Push real hard for the good life Push real hard for the good life I don't laugh about it. It's what really happened. I'm a filthy dharma bum. But not incincere. What is a dharma bum well, let's see Cheap wine, cheap times, zen, mountian, eternal dawn Whispers, Truth, magic, dreams, all those things apply. Life
This is an incredible song that can put chills down your spine.Never even made it on a album. That's amazing. For some reason,I'm not surprised YOU would use it to add some magic.Well done.

@HDN5b I so understand where you're coming from, they speak directly to a person to a point it's almost religious, read my comment above this
