  • GEN Powell is a good guy and a hard charger, but also an idiot and a low IQ decision maker, affirmative action recipientant and a pro-black racist. Back in the 80's and 90's i knew this guy and also the officer that sat on the board that promoted him fron COL, to 1 star, to 2 star. only for one reason: his race. Many of his decisions were not for the army but for his race: black 1sg's and MSG's caught stealing money or raping junior white women, powell nixed charges. powellis typical :NIGGER

  • What,no WMD!!!???

  • Everybody should be able to agree that this guy is a man who has served our country for a long time with great honor, and who had one major error in judgment for which he has been widely and correctly criticized, and for which he has taken responsibility. Nobody is perfect, and he has continued to be a great asset to our country ever since. The fact that those on the far right don't support him because he opposes discrimination and moderacy, makes him all the more relevant.

  • No love is lost between me and this overrated, self-righteous quisling.

What's he done for the GOP? He turned coat on Bush, oppositional from the beginning, wants to close Gitmo, endorsed Obama.

  • OH LOOK ITS A COLON PAL !!!! ALL THE GAYS ARE HAPPY !!!!

  • These rules are great! Applies to everything and to everybody! Let's all be guided for us to be fruitful in our leadership and of to our members. Great video you have here!

  • Simply "right on the money". These rules apply everywhere and every time, from home to work to politics.

  • Should have been president instead of Bush.

  • And then he helped start the war against Iraq by lying to the UN.

  • Oh he is so wise...... so very wise......these 13 rules suck!!

  • He walked the talk. Legitimate advice. Simple truths. Wise man.

  • dude sounds like a loser. No?

  • f8cken criminal... hope he rots in hell

  • My manager at work blatantly uses the fact that I have appeared in adult films as a stick to beat me.

I asked for a well-deserved pay-rise the last month & she casually dismissed me saying “Perhaps you think working here is like your scene on YouPorn, where you ask for a raise but end up screwing that fake-breasted boss-woman on the desk! Please keep your sexual fantasies to yourself!”

I am not ashamed of my past- I was good at the job I did. If this continues, I’m going to tribunal.

  • @SuperTruth77

lolwut. no context and unrelated. why would you post that?

  • @SuperTruth77 name the adult films you are in...go!

  • @SuperTruth77 What does your sleazy past have to do with this video ?

  • Isn't really "leadership" advice

  • @SpiritsBB Yes. Yes it is just advice. But it's advice with some Mojo behind it.

  • Rule 14 : "Read Bullshit Allegations in front of the U.N., when the Warmachine asks you to."

  • he should of done this while he was secretary of state

  • Now there's the guy that should be in the White House.

  • Comment removed

  • Is his name Colon Blow?

  • Rule # 14: Own up to your LIES and DECEPTION, and while you cannot raise the innocent dead children of Iraq who you helped murder with chemical weapons, try to save the ones that are struggling.

  • Yeah... what a great leader. Lies to the UN to take us into an unnecessary and tragic war and then does not have the courage to admit it. He's got American and Iraqi blood all over his hands and I hope he rots in hell with all the other warmongers. Sadly I'm an atheist so the rot in hell thing won't fly with me. But I do hope he dies a slow and painful death.

  • @ musicgirl38: Colin Powell is a war monger? Really are you that ignorant?

  • Have a photographic memory, remember numbers, names, conversations, emails, companies, 360 degree view of your business, and your clients. Advantage you can't be without!

  • Colin had the chance to take the Republican ticket back in the late nineties it was his for the taking, but his wife Alma balked at the idea, instead he threw his weight behind cheyney and bush. All i can say is: fuck you Alma, the world needed colin more than bush .... and things would have turned out very differently.

  • Words of wisdom should not be subject to the strength of the man who speaks them. True men make mistakes. True men learn by them. Seeing the wisdom in the words of others takes less strength than finding that wisdom yourself.

  • War mongerer and liar..

  • thank you for posting. i especially needed to read rule 12 and 13. thank you, again! veronica

  • Dont listen to this man...hes full of shit - literally!

  • Rule #1 - Don't lie to the UN Security Council about nonexistent WMD in Iraq thus starting a criminal war. The Germans did exactly the same thing on Sep. 1 against Poland - lied about Poland's weapons, intentions and troops crossing the border. Both are the same. Both criminal. Both evil.

  • @bibearfan See Rule #6 Don't let adverse fact stand in the way of a good decision LOL

  • war criminal

  • Colored, yes. Black, no. At least not by the term that every person outside America seems to use. Actually he looks more white than black to me. In Africa he wouldn't be classified as black at all. This may be trivial, but why don't black people worship someone who's actually black.... Also, racism is still apparent in Hollywood. Usually all the major parts designed for people with color go to those with a large admixture of caucasian blood, especially when it comes to females.
  • @Pastorius333 there s also a large amount of racism in commercials not to offend black people. when there are black people and white people in a commercial, the black is always smart, cool, succesful while the white is dumb, foolish and the butt of jokes. if the roles were reversed black people would be screaming rasicm. In magazines it the opposite, white people on magazines sells copies while black people on covers dont. There are two examples of racism both ways. BTW i like colin powell

  • Love him or hate him, this man has proved his mettle as a leader. Anything he says on the subject is worth considering.

  • Let us take/learn the Good, leave the Bad, be a Man and Carry-On!

  • Powell is an vicious asshole. Fuck him and his George Bush war mongering, violent militaristic mentality. He's just another power conservative luster and he doesn't give a shit about the people he is responsible for killing. I detest this right wing fucker.

  • He should have been our president!!!!!!

  • colon powell looks just like this black guy that Alaskan pipe lined me last night<3

  • @homoSERBIAN Yeah right, you wish bo

  • @homoSERBIAN No silly he was doing that in albania to albanian 'women'

  • this video needs music

  • aaaahhhhhhaaa

  • One of the very few Americans I admire and respect. Its a pity that people like Colin cant infleuce 99.9999999999 percent of Americans who cant be lead, encouraged or motivated to be moral, ethical, and do good things for the world.

  • @AntipodeanStar - What you just stated is the biggest generalization of Americans I have heard in a long time, and I've heard some pretty big ones. Do not offend us Americans who care more about their country and their planet than others in your country may. You cannot say that .00000000001 of us are that ignorant and unethical. For you to say that is unethical at best, and utterly distasteful. I find it amusing that you speak so lowly of Americans when you apparently lack the things you listed.

  • Very good. It just needs some music like my composition "Do You Love America?". See my channel meyersonfire. Go freedom!

  • Colin had nothing to do with the My Lai Massacre he arrived in Vietam after it happened and was only ordered to investigate it. Also he was one of the biggest supporters of not invading Iraq he even tried to persuade Bush for two and a half hours not to invade , he only made the speech to the UN because that was his duty to follow the commander in chief's (Bush) orders. He was involved in Iran, but so was charlie Wilson in Afghanistan doing the same thing which was right at the time.

  • @dirtrider9805 You can always decide to Resign, there is always a choice

  • Wow, a general was involved in going to war, followed orders from his commanders-in-chief, and saw horrible things in war? Fantastic insights. Now go back to your job in the mall.

  • Murder, excuses for it or the whitewashing of it, aren't duty.

  • You have a nice table mine is made from donkey hair....

  • gr88 , v v good

  • He forget one , be a minority at the right place and time, otherwise he probably wouldn't have been promoted. I noticed many other generals much smarter , but you also need a lot of luck. Sometimes you can work 24/7 and you don't let your superiors know or they don't care you won't get anywhere. So one has to be lucky and have excelent bosses who like to see their subordinates grow in everything.

  • Name a general who was more qualified at the time.

  • Nice. Emotionally intelligent.

  • rule 14- Don't trust Cheney.

  • great person,great quote,it's wisdom!

  • you cant be serious

  • Yeah this comming from Mr. Weapons of mass distruction. Haha, hw should have used these himself they are great.

  • Excellent video. Great points. However, I don't understand why anyone should limit these to leaders or leadership. These principles appear to apply to anyone -- regardless of relative position or station in life.

  • This is a great video, I'm going to show this to all of my clients and colleagues.

  • Just because Powell didn't always live these characteristics doesn't mean they're not true - the flaws are within him rather than the characteristics which seem pretty sound to me.

  • Colin Bowell lied to the American Public. He sold lies and sent troops into harms way based on lies.

  • yeah, but you have to admit, he's good at what he does. Just Like Hitler XD.

I think that list is valuable. I also quote Hitler by the way.

  • If this were a test of leadership, Obama would score 100%

The US missed a great opportunity to have Colin Powell as its President. Great leaders make mistakes too, but they have the courage to admit it. Powell unfortunately had to rely on lies and wrong information relentlessly thrust on him by his President, to endorse the war on Iraq. While the rest of the administration pigheadedly refuses to acknowledge their blunder, Powell alone has the guts to admit that this was a blot on his career.

  • I second that. True leaders are seldomly acknowledged.

  • Powell is an American hero.

  • his message should be taught in schools...He is a TRUE bi-partisan leader.

  • Nice to be reminded of these...and I would have voted for him if he ever ran...he is a TRUE bi-partisan leader!

  • Thanks for the steps. Nice vid.

  • The negative comments come from naysayers.... My guess is that these naysayers never a following unless it's pessimism multiplied.

  • This is the man I have wanted for president for many years.

  • Always something learned in the great and not so great. The perfect chance to reflect and fine tune.

    Thanks Mr. Powell

  • I saw 2 out of the 13 that I would agree with.#5 and #8 The rest could be refined that by

through understanding bringing vison and leaving ego and credit out of the equation all together. 2 more very important points to make.. If there's need for a war, then our insight of humanity has failed us. And if military is our greatest strength, then we've lost sight of our main goal, which is to master ourselves and the universe in the hopes to cheat death instead of bringing death.

  • good job

  • 10/100
