As someone who used to suffer from this brutal illness. I can say from personal experience that by making positive changes you will get results that eventually won't require you to use that machine. After waking up gasping for air for about the 5th time, I said enough was enough. My life was worth more than this. I exercised 5 days a week, completely changed my diet around. 6 months later I lost 60 pounds, and the sleep apnea is a thing of the past. I hope things get better for you;.
Hey Robb, I hope things worked out for you with your CPAP. I am so desperate for a good night's sleep that I will do my best to get used to one of these machines. It is always good to hear from others who say it is worth the bother. Gives the new users hope.
may I ask what brand is your CPAP Machine??, I have one, had it now for 6 days, still getting used to it. Mine is a Fisher and Paykel Sleepstyle 200 series, My pressure is set at 13..pretty high.:/....but it's ok.=)
i love my cpap. i am so happy that i got one. my sleep has never been better. im happier and healthy. ive lost 10 lbs since using my machine. my blood pressure is down. without a doubt believe that if anyone EVER has any concern about their sleep. they need to look into this.
Yes, the machine was turned on. It's pretty quiet. :) Honestly, it took me about 4 months to get used to wearing it. The key for me was to relax. I have had it for over a year now, and my life has changed drastically because of it! So don't give up! :)
This is how I feel. I can hardly exhale wearing this and I'm scared because if I dont wear it I will never get better. How did you get used to breathing out through your nose and stay a sleep with this thing on? I'm afraid I wont be able to, and the sleep study with this thing on was HELL.

I died when I saw my grandpa use one for the first time. When I needed one myself, I now understand why he talked so funny.

I go tomorrow to pick up my full face mask CPAP machine. I have an index of 57. I stop breathing once every 57 seconds. Considered severe.

I don't know how this video doesn't have like 10,000,000 hits. One of the funniest videos I have EVER seen! Love it!
