Government spending needs to increase dramatically to fund projects that will give people employment and to stimulate business. If the gov't doesn't do it, no one will. And Marxist? Second, business WILL hire because there is immediate work to be done. If the government says, we need a school here, then they hire a company who needs to employ people to work on the project.
