When I did this it was a lot less complicated I even have the video on youtube. I just had

"Sand"

And it turned out really rough and hilly with no sand because dat's how I liek it , and I felt like king of the world until I couldn't blow it up T_T

@Theshinesprites , I don't believe that sand is accessable through the new terrain generator button. You can change a part of the script that generates the parts though if you wanted.. I did so in my place, you can test out what I did on my alt character "x3GirlsFartToo" at her place. You can also get the tool I scripted from my free models if you'd like. It allows you to place a single terrain block either sand or grass depending on the mode you have it set on. ("Q" key = grass, "E" key = sand)

Clockwork made a terrain generator in 2008 1 year before notch even started Minecraft. This is just a bigger version of his.
