  • As a white dude, in a whiteish state, VT, I am a huge fan of Rev. Wright, but I understand Obamas reluctance to "go there". I invite the kind readers to watch our "Dick Gregory Refutes Rev. Jeremiah Wright Controversy" videos for a hard look at reality as viewed by many Black Americans.

Loving your country, means stepping up, not just mindless flag waving. This whitey believes in Black Liberation Theology, but then again, I understand it.

  • However, I actually agree with you and told my husband the very same thing...it made me lose respect for Barack Obama's character when he appeared to be lying to the public about Rev. Wright. But at the same time, I accepted it because I feel we are all allowed a couple strikes here and there (i.e. O.J.'s acquittal the 1st time he was in trouble) because of the various oppressions our culture has endured over time.

  • You need to understand that this election is way biggger than Rev. Wright In order for Barack Obama to win this election, he needed to say what he said to not be judged racist by white supremacy. Wright even had a private conversation with Barack prior to running for office about Barack distancing himself from him due to his radical views...Barack was coached to take this approach.

  • I agree I don't think Obama should have completely disowned his reverend. I think it's pretty obvious Obama didn't just find out that these were Reverend Wrights views. Yeah, he should have just said I've heard this before but I disagree, if he did disagree. He should have owned up to it.

  • Ah, btw, I did vote in the primaries. For Hillary Clinton. What I was referring to in the video is who I would be voting for come November. If the nominee happens to be Mr. Obama, which it currently appears it will be, I will vote for my party's nominee.

  • you never said who you were voting for and you didn't even mention hillary's creative math and sniper fire lie she told on at least 3 different occasions nor did you mention her association with whitewater, nafta and many other obvious lies she told. her association with shady characters from since before she became a senator. how revealing is that. I disagree with you on this particular issue. but you are entitled to your opinion.

  • this is america.rev. wright is entitled to his opinion, but don't hold obama accountable for what that man said. wright is from a different generation, of course he feels that way and he has every right to. I, on the other hand, was born in 88 and i understand why wright said what he said but i don't share his views, and i have even more respect for wright for speaking his mind. Corey you were the man until you made this video. people can have different views and still be friends. obama 08

  • maurise are you black? Just curious. so you mesan balcks born later really do feel a lot different than older pple? I'm trying to understand this. I'm American but live in Thailand (long story) since 12 years I neve runderstood why blacks and whites in the Media at least are constantly bickering. here blacks and whites seem a lot m ore chilled.

  • dude everyone is different. Every generation is different. It all boils down to respect. I respect peoples minds and points of views. As long as there is respect america will become a more cooler (LOL that bad grammer)to live

  • yes i am black

  • After the past eight years, Obama is the only candidate that makes me feel somewhat hopeful about the future. Great video!

  • hope is the first step on the road to dissapointment. You shouldnt base your entire platform on a chance of hope...

  • dude america was dreamed out of hope

  • Well, it would be nice to talk about mccain and hillary characters as well.

  • i dont think Jeremiah Wright's extreme views should decided at all about Barrak. Jeremiah is infused with rage and hatred from his older life with the racial struggles in America at their worst time. Barrak doesn't come from that same era. I don't think one should intertwine his rage and extreme beliefs to Obama or make them out of context.Wright has a rhetoric which allows him to lock in his audience religiously. In this i believe that Barrak Obama attended because of religion not politics.

  • Great response man, but you said in the beginning that you would vote for anyone leading the democratic party in this election even though we pretty much know now that Obama is going to be it. Then you say all that stuff about his pastor (which i agree with) but even after all that you would still cast your vote for the democrats? I mean that sort of goes against what you believe about Obama which i agree with as well, and which is also why i don't think he should be elected.

  • Babes,

You know I love ya! Keep em coming!
