The NME ran a story back in November, that The Faces are getting back together. This is a great song (as were many of their others)but I don't see any point in them getting back together now. Rod was only ever an (extremely) poor man's Steve Marriott and the master songwriter was Ronnie Lane (rip).  Go and see a gig?....I'd much rather watch Ronnie Lane and Slim Chance on youtube!

I was 15 when I heard this and just thought it was a cool tune but didn't understand what he was singing about. 10 years later and I know exactly what he means and exactly how it feels.
