I'm trying to make a webclip but I don't have that button you are suppose to click to bring up your dashboard and create the clip. I have the newest versions as far I can tell because I just got my computer and I have updated everything.

Help please!?

Very usefull feature :) I tried out a few things and it works perfect with Javascript too. This means that you can cut out small pieces of webapps for a quick use from your dashboard. (try it with Gmail's inbox for example)

click on the safari's toolbar (not deskbar). and then click on customise toolbar and then drag "open in Dashboard" to safari's toolbar.

btw, this feature only works/have in Mac OSx not Windows.

Not that this is a very usefull feature but for anyone who wants to do this in their PC (XP or Vista) just download a program called Snippage, it's free and it does the same thing.

Hrm, I don't think YouTube lets me post url's in replies. Goto mozilla's website, find the add-on section, and search for "Clipmarks". There's also an add-on called "EverNote Web Clipper", although I've never used that one.

clipmarks doesn't make widgets, it makes notes ...

no ... they don't -.- clipmarks uploads part of a website to another website for ppl to see and comment on, this turns any part of a website into a widget (for instance, the "videos being watched right now" bar on youtube) so that you can access it and interact with it on your desktop. If you use Clipmarks as widgets, you're not making a shortcut for yourself, you're just changing the address you have to go to.

Leopard eh? Where's the transparent menu and reflective dock with stacks? Perhaps the real Leopard would be more appropriate.

This is the OLD version of Leopard.

The new Leopard actually includes more UI enhancements, and you haven't seen them before.

The newest Leopard build has the dock's icons in a "mirror" type view..it's so sexy.

I noticed that, because it looks different than mine. I have the mirror like one you're talking about, but I thought the one he has is Tiger, I didn't know they have different versions of Leopard.

this is an old old developer version of leopard, before it got the new look.

That was an early beta of Leopard from 2006 not the current version of Leopard that we know today. If you remember from WWDC 06, Steve said there were "top secret features" in Leopard that they did not want to show for fear the Microsoft would copy those features and put them in Vista.

i doubt they'll even have the mac minis by the time leopard arrives. its went a total of 2 years without a single update, which is highly usuasal of apple, it may mean its lost sales, slot of sales.

I know, its rumored that apple may pull the mac mini out of the line at the conference in june when they set off the iphone. But even if its pulled off the market, it'll still run leopard :]

oh good glad it will Leopard, are you sure they will pull the mac mini out of production its been Apple's most popular computer since its introduction. if anything i think it can be made smaller

im not for positive about this at all, its only a rumor. And no its been the /least/ popular computer in their line. I do know that, if it gets pulled it'll eventually be replace. But with what I dont know.

I don't know any of this for a fact, but the facts show that the popularity of the mac mini is very very low, less then one beeing ordered every3 or 4 days, usually apple update these type sof things, but they havent... for 2 years.

yeah. apple knows design, thats for sure. but sometimes i question their pricing and product quality... My best friend had to call apple nearly 5 or 6 times to get help, everyone kept telling him his screen was supposed to flicker xD.
