Blindside hits are legal. Eliminate blindside hits and you get rid of any big hits.. No NHL caliber player is going to get rocked if they can see them coming.
@nickREPwillis No need to indeed act with "faggot" intentions, as @palesthorse666 so aptly pointed out. The Leafs are a great team, they deserve to be represented by classy fans. And remember, the Ducks gave you Joffrey Lupul, who is quite the classy man.
Apparently your not allowed to hit in the NHL anymore. It should be called the NO HIT LEAGUE. Hockey players used to be the toughest athletes in the planet because they would play through anything, now the NHL has made them in pussies.
@nickREPwillis he had a few decent hits in toronto, and as far as his play is concerned he isn't the greatest dman but he was on the leafs, of course he was gonna suck when they didn't have much talent around him
@nickREPwillis Not anymore lol, a month later and it looks like the leafs will be fighting for the 8th spot. Typical Leafs fan counting their eggs before they hatch. Leafs fans forget that there is something called the Playoffs.
@nickREPwillis Yeah they are a pretty real hockey team, especially since they are in the NHL. And you sit on your ass at a computer screen dissing NHL players. I'm pretty sure that if Beauchemin hit you, you'd probably die.
THATS what you call a suicide pass, the passing forward sets up mike fisher like at tennis-ball to a racquet. Dump the puck in, dont set your man up like that. Stupid play, legal check.
@maxhaddrall i wouldnt go to the extent of calling it a "suicide pass". adrenaline is up and its a fast pace game. looks like the guy blindly passed it to him. its easy to sit here and see the whole ice as we do on tv or even sitting higher up in the crowd. looks much different on the ice ya know.
@IvIustangsvt2003 when you get over the red line, you dump it in or carry it in yourself. you dont pass the puck in the neutral zone like that, its just how the games played.
@maxhaddrall ive seen it done plenty of times. and alot of times it leads into some good shots and scoring chances. but you do usually see them dump in at that point. i guess it really depends on the line and the chemistry tween players. im personally a flyers fan. and i watch them to it quite often. i guess theres alot of factors ya no. sometimes passes get too predictable. it can go good and lead to chances or bad and cause turnovers.
this is why im starting to get annoyed with the hit to the head and blindside hit rules. ya it tries to keep players safe but its hurting a big part of the physical game which people love to see and too many players are getting game ejections off of clean hits, or hits that werent even a penalty a few years back.
Lindack is a fucking giant!

at speed you cant blame the refs for thinking it was a headshot.

that is a clean hit no questions asked, not a "blind side" hit either, Fisher makes distinct eye contact before the hit; what a beauty

They want to eliminate blindside hit? Then teach players to avoid suicide passes...
