Sony has phones that go over 8 MP. o_O And it's actually really good quality. The PSP camera has very bad quality on it.. A Sony Mylo does much better. Also, why would you need a camera on a gaming console? If you have a PSP, you're likely to have a phone or digital camera, so just pull it out and take a picture instead of attaching something to the PSP and turning it on to take a picture. If you're playing a game, you have to exit to take a picture.

I used to own one. I sold it because I found out that I wasn't using it for anything at all. PSP is a game console.. not a camera. As for the quality of the pictures.. it doesn't take high quality resolution photos.

multi-media is an advantage the PSP has over other handheld devices, specifically the DS. you could do a whole lot of stuff on the PSP compared to the DS in better quality. just remember, if they give the PSP more hardware and software power to run multimedia stuff, that makes for even more kickass gaming. think for one f*ckin second! :p

Actually, i love the multimedia stuff. I love the fact that i can watch films, watch youtube videos, listen to some music and then play some games afterwards, all in wide screen. And now even better, i can go on holiday, and all i need is my PSP. My MP3 player while im out, my Videos while im in, my games all the time and the ability to take pictures of everything.

I LOVE what the PSP with all the latest firmware can do for about £80-100

I know for some people who don't have cameras but have a PSP this is perfect so we can upload videos to youtube and such. this will be perfect for anyone with a 1- 16 GB mem card. I have a 16GB memory card so I would be able to record alot. It's small too, I think it's nothing but amazing.

Go!Edit software will be updated, but do keep in mind that the software is limited to what the PSP is capable of. And for the price, it beats the crappy no-brand cameras you find in cheap shops.

Thing is, the PSP IS a Media Player which also Plays Video Games... Everyone knew that from the beginning. Go!Cam is one of the First things we see as a Media Type I think... YOU don't care about the Cam.. But some of us might find it interesting, which it is. It's also Handy for "Portable" Travels as that's what it's truly meant for.
