i don't believe the ipad will take any real market from the kindle or Sony e readers. The main reason deals with the e-Ink display on the kindle and sony With e-ink, you can read books on the device without any real issues of glare or ambient brightness very similarly to the way one actually reads a book.
if they wanted to make this an "in the middle device", then they should add they things a computer can do. i mean, no multitasking, no computer applications, i men its like rly? you had the chance to make the perfect tablet, with everything a computer will do, replace the laptop, and start a new technical revolution. all it is now is a waste of money.

well have they made an announcement stating that they will. I'm simply telling Apple, instead of waiting for the release date to take effect, take initiative tomorrow and make this happen. I dont want to see this when it comes april that it doesnt have multitasking.

It may play HD Youtube videos. But it does NOT support them. Again, HD youtube videos are 1280x720 or 1920x1080, the iPad is 1024x768, THIS IS XGA, not HD! XGA was introduced in the 1990's it's a pathetic standard almost every single laptop and tablet PC and mac got rid of in 2003.
Who in their right mind would use an iPad for navigation purposes?
