Saw the latest Lord of the dance show last night in Edinburgh. Wouldn't take anything away from the talent of the dancers but in my view the whole thing isn't a patch on Riverdance which I have also seen on a number of occasions. Too much like a pantomime, flashing lights, silly special effects, posturing from the male lead dancer (good training there from Michael "flatterme") and not nearly enough actual dancing. Roll on next Riverdance show.

Michael Flatley was the one who choreographed the dances. He does not dance like the background dancers because he is making sure they are doing their jobs, basically like a conductor. Some may think this dance is awful and that Flatley is gay, but with a net worth of $650 million (USD), I don't think he would care what anyone says.
