Ill tell you this I grew up in Lowestoft in the 50's and early 1960's and it was a wonderful holiday resort, before the Brits started going to the Costa Del Spew etc..
I remember 6 weeks of glorious sun on the beach in the school hols . You are lucky to live on a beach resort, even if it is a shade of its former glory. And yes it rained but not all the time!
Kinel! grew up on that beach, always sunny, never rained, halcyon days i tell you! constant sunshine, bunny rabbits, pixies... hang on, that was somewhere else, yeah, it was always pissing down in Lowies!
