  • where can i order mine!

  • sa marche maime po ses criss de leure

  • Pretty cool. Watch my video on how to make your own wooden lures! More coming soon.

  • does anybody know if these would work on trout ??????????????

  • @clickware yes they work and hes not the first guy to use this idea ......just the first to be on the news with it its been around a long time but if he make money at have at it...

  • @clickware yes. that fish he caught was a trout

  • "Canadians toss out billion bottle caps every year"Wow,I rotfl'ed at that

  • guy at 1:24 totally looks like the dos equis guy lol

  • Think every one should email the beer company in disgust that one man is helping the economy and pollution!

  • "One's man trash. Is one's man treasure" I understand now :)

  • there called spoons, that lure is already made, but the scent of beer could attract fish maybe

  • This does work however, I saw this in a fishing magazine nearly 15 years ago. I am not sure if he is the true inventor. It works with crappie pearch and Largemouth bass.

  • "its not bad, its actually already up to 16 degrees" i know its 2 totally different locations and seasons probably but here it is nearly thanksgiving and its 79 degrees outside in georgia right now at 13:54

  • An unconscious little gesture? LOL

    You think maybe he meant..subconscious?

  • that's just brilliant, good on him.

  • i make one and a catch a pike about 1,9 Kg!

  • I tryed one out too light for long distance casts

  • I tip my hat to this guy for making money off this.

  • its not a bad day its actually up to 16 degrees, lol

  • I saw this several years ago in a Field & Stream magazine. I made my own many years ago.

  • "I like fishing, I like beer" this guy is epic win!

  • oh crap coulda made a million

  • hey you can use buttons of your shirt

  • There's one problem with this trick-- It tends to attract tiny fish.

  • @mmmmmarcus but once you catch enough it might make up the difference

  • @Sk0gg1es Not really. You can catch trout and bass and panfish, but in 99.9 percent of cases, a bigger lure is needed for bigger fish. There are times where fish just wont hit a spoon at all. (which is what the bottle caps are fished as)

  • i doubt the fish will bite a heineken bottle cap

  • i used to make my own lure. i got so many ways to make a lure not just caps. using almost everything from nature.

  • they might like the scent of beer if not im using my good old fishing spoons

  • well done BottleCapLureGuy.. i hope the idea reels in enough money to retire.. so you can enjoy more fishing!

  • faina traba

  • Will these hold up for maybe 15 lb red drum? I know these have to hold up to 5lb flounder.

  • @BottleCapLureGuy

Sincere congratulations for an unusually excellent idea and the guts to make the investment.

  • Do samon work?

  • I like how all these people are hating!! U guys should have capitalized!! XD

  • @DXReviews69 Sure, why not.

  • @DXReviews69 Never said he invented it. He was just smart enough (unlike you) to patent it and sell it. Good luck making claims that got you nowhere in life and that can't even be backed up! By the way, the fish i caught was THIS BIG!

  • @rushlessons101 yes I did Invent them. I can prove it too where others can not

  • There's a fish called "crappie"!?

  • @Jafroboy you dumb ass........

  • @bulldude8796 Oh comon, Crappie!

  • Panfish will hit anything so

  • @nave50cal yu maaaad

  • in salt water is

  • Thata crazy

  • This is pure hogshit. We've been catching saltwater fish on can openers for years.

  • actually pretty cool and this does work really well catch all kind of bass pike crappie and plenty others

  • If I was a beer company, I'd have the directions to a 'bottle cap lure' printed on the side of my carton, and throw in a free hook and swivel with every six pack. If I were the bottle cap lure guy, I'd start selling beer in this type of package.

  • @BottleCapLureGuy

Will these or are they avalible in the US?

  • anyway i liked share my chanel mates!i just made my ebike2011!

  • why is this a response to touch my body?

  • i feel sorry for the guy.molson got pissed at him for using thier logo but he was really adverstising for them like cmon free adverstising!!!!!!! molson would probably make lots of money off that all i got to say is keep doing what you like doing man:)

  • keep on going bravooooooo !

  • good stuff man. very very good invention. i hope it's doing well for you

  • i live in florida and i was wondering if you want help making some your cap lures if your interested email me at fishing776@yahoo.com

  • Any word on what happened as far as the legal action for using the logo? I can't imagine they can sue you for recycling lids from their product.

  • wont the fish tear the hook out of the bottle cap lots of people said 5 lb plus will

  • man if a fall out happens this guy is rich !! so rich he uses money as fishing bait !

  • alsom

  • i dont get it does it just go round the weights??

  • My cousin made me some. Now I know where he got the idea

  • send me a couple

  • to cool

  • This guy is going to be rich during the nuclear fallout

  • @Thelordofcatfish lol my friend and I joke about that too =P Since she collects bottlecaps

  • can we fish snakeheads with these lures?

  • can the lure be apply to salt water fish exp sea bass??

  • Does this work in saltwater? I am from Asia and would like to know if these actually work in saltwater?

  • I really like your idea

  • hahaha I love the 'wow,' at 0:41

  • i make at least 2 of these every day haha

  • Figgers...corporate america would be suin' someone tryin' to make money of their garbage...

  • @brookie285

    ... Neither is hook.

  • Comment removed

  • @dmc142006 its called profit and how much would you sell one of your own ideas?

  • Lol all you have to do is take a bottle cap bend it an put some bb gun pellets in, then put it on your line.....

  • well i got a couple of beers in my fridge, i got the tools, and i got a lake near bye. What could i possibly do?

  • Yeah, patent law allows you to make copies for "research purposes", especially if you change or improve his design. Really is a novel idea. Just don't be selling your one offs, I'm sure BottleCapLureGuy wouldn't appreciate that.

  • and people say you cant get nothing from drinking

  • Maybee the Canadian goverment should send a letter to Molson for using OUR logo, a maple leaf

  • how the fish attracted to that .. there is no bait ...

  • @aznboyz345 Some fish like shiny things therefore, you don't need bait.

  • You make them for me then & I will buy them off you. Pony up big boy. You can do all our custom printed packaging and custom printed bottle caps too. Sweet glad you advised me. Cost me 15,000 for just the machine we bend them and punch them with. $25,000 to for the patent and trade mark.

  • @BottleCapLureGuy I have an idea, why don't you put metal BB's inside so it rattles when its in the water? The Just popped in my head :)

  • @BottleCapLureGuy

I didnt say I wanted to mass produce them. All im saying is why buy one for 5 dollars when I can make my own. I wont need to buy a 15000 dollar machine and custom print packaging and all the other goodies.

  • @BottleCapLureGuy I use a Do-It lure body mold to make 1/16th ounce weights to put into my bottle cap lures. It adds plenty of weight to the lures for casting. I don't know about the packaging, but between the wire, beads, clevis, lead body and #4 treble they only cost me pennies to make. I'll put one of mine up against one of yours any day of the week, and twice on Sundays.

  • @BottleCapLureGuy LIKE A BOSS

  • @BottleCapLureGuy Why would you spend 15,000 on a machine to bend bottle caps when you could employ a hundred immigrants and pay them fuck all to sit there and bend them all day like they would do in the jungle anyway

  • what kind of fish are usually caught on these?

  • Everything! Trout, Bass, Walleye, Pike, Crappie, Perch and much more

  • @BottleCapLureGuy and what color would you say is the best for bass?

  • I used to that when I was a kid. I think it was back in like 92 the first time I made one.

  • YOUR THE BEAST BOTTLECAP LURE GUY. ingenious idea. the bent shape makes it wobble, shine attracts fish, folk art appeal because its a bottle cap.

  • I agree that it is a pretty good idea to turn a bottle cap into a useful fishing lure. but in term of recycling and suppling the green , you are just producing more and more plastic packages that against the green. So what about using recycle products for the packaging too ?!

  • Our packaging is made of 100% recycled plastic and paper. We thought of that. The hooks, split rings and snap swivels are new.

  • @BottleCapLureGuy you should just go to the store and boy some midgits

  • Ha great! I did something similar. A few months back I tied a couple scud nymphs out of pocket lint and a candy wrapper. I landed 4 or 5 trout on them. Necessity is the mother of invention. Great job! :)

  • i want one!

  • Is it illegal for me to try to make them. Not sell them just make one or 2?

  • @camofirekid yes, you will be thrown into jail for 7 years and have the skin flayed off your back on a weekly basis. Keep away from discarded bottle tops.

  • @TheWolvie450 wtf. u can make them. its a friggen bottlecap/. what r u the bottle cap police

  • @camofirekid i dont think it is just dont go around selling or saying its your own invetion

  • We are all rooting for you, baby!!!

  • watt do u catch off them

  • @BottleCapLureGuy fishing with bottle caps did u copy right it?

  • MUTSUMI TAKAHASHI!

  • Seems to me the beer companies should be thankful for the free advertising with one of their top customer base.

  • Beer companies! The beer bottle cap was purchased and its free advertising for the company. If anything, they should be paying you BottleCapLureGuy!

  • That's cool but I'm pretty sure that if u caught a big fish the bottle cap would extend to it's limit. Think of ur line or maybe ring, under pressure that's gonna rip it apart slowly as the fish fights.

  • @blob31900

LOL, u have written that on every video featuring these bottle cap lures, i have watched 3 videos, and on all 3 of them, you have posted that exact same comment...

  • How can i get it so the bbs don't fall out of the bent beer cap?

  • if u notice i seen this on the new 5 time around the world dude they arent the original creatosr check over videos

  • Dude your amazing!! :)

  • wonder why a company would complain its like another form of advertising

  • does the BBs fall out easyly??...

    PS:this note contains bad english

  • hey sice they dont sell these in florida can i make these for personal use? i wont sell them i just tend to catch fish that will break my line and i lose the lure so i see this as an awesome alternative!

  • wow these definitely look interesting! i would love to try those out someday! :)

  • great idea Norm...hi from yb!

  • norm sent me this is kathy from yb cool video will try this in the spring

  • cool video and will try this in the spring

  • Try it

  • Pretty neat! I'll have to try it. Fancy and expensive fishing lures are meant to catch fishemen, not fish.

  • haha nice spinner bait there xD people dont need bait to catch fish

  • how cool is that!!! screw the beer companies its not like they arent selling beer heck they are probably selling more beer now because of this guy.......

  • @SAXD45ACP Yeah it looks like stupidity to me, that they dont want him to use caps with their logo, i mean, they get attention for free!

  • @SAXD45ACP I agree, might be a shot in the foot for beer companies, I would personaly say my beer tops catch more fish than the other brands. When you purchase something it is yours, if you decide to recycle it like this chap has done, then tough shit for the beer companies. If they endordsed it then people that don't drink would buy beer.

  • so is this legal? and do u just put the cap on without bait?

  • Looks sweet. I'll have to see if I can find any of these somewhere and give them a try. I love fishing... A good lure just makes it better.

  • these things actually work I know use these to catch white bass for bait and man do they work my favorite spoon

  • "Being that beer and fishing was a winning combination for him and his buddies" LOL so true

  • i wonder if it spins like a spoon?

  • It doesnt spin like a spoon, i thought it would, it wiggles more like a rapala.

  • did you catch anything?

  • I havent tried it in a lake or river yet, i used it in my pool just to check out the action

  • Blue YES damn right it should be in the Top 3 woo hoo

  • The Components including, hooks, bearings, snap swivel, packaging and inserts come up more than that....

  • do the caps spin in water

  • freakin sweet

  • where can i find these lures because i cannot find them anywhere?

  • Is BottleCapLureGuy the real inventor?

  • Yes I am" I hold the patent

  • @BottleCapLureGuy do you use bait on em or just leave them the way they are i doubt you dont use osme bait but just wondering

  • @Kawasaki2501 people have been making them forever.. my granpa showed me when i was 5 or 6... but he did monopolize on it so.. sure

  • Yes I am

  • do they work for saltwater

  • I have caught Salmon & Sea Bass on them. I also seen someone catch a 40 lb Halibut

  • how did you cut holes in them?

  • they catch bass??

  • They sure do. Large & Smallmouth

  • hey, beer and fish =- ) your awesome

  • Walleye, Pike, Trout, Salmon Perch, Greyling etc

  • what do you catch with them

  • lets get a vid of it under water

  • Don't forget to visit The Original Bottle Cap Lures site

  • "wobbly pop" lol. i've never heard that name for it.

  • You are the Bottle Cap King So Far

  • i know i am,lets go fishing,i know how to catch em.
