When Ricky is talking down to Karl, he really should get things right. He says that German is "not a Romantic language." Romantic languages have nothing to do with sounding nice. It's simply that they came down from Latin, the Romans, hence Roman-tic. I love RIcky but he comes off a bit arrogant at times; especially when he talks about religion, and how "logical" he is.

Disliking a language would not be racist. It may be prejudice, but racist isnt the word to apply to it.

Also, I dont think its prejudice to find a language unattractive. That is a matter of personal taste. Hes not saying German is a fundamentally inferior language.

I did hear that one yeah. I guess it could be true then, I just had the idea Ricky wouldn't have allowed Karl to make a joke of it if she'd really had a potentially fatal disease, I'm probably being over sensitive.
