This is like some sort of bizarre Hello Kitty metal sound or something. She sounds like a girl, not a gal. Like that Delain doesn't even need 2 sing 2 sound better - just talking is 10,000X more swingin smooth.

@Marshallsatten If you want old school, Doro Pesch is good. She's still going strong at 45 or 46. There are some "New" singers. Tarja is considered a goddess but I find her overrated. Personally, aside from Doro (she's my favorite) I think Therion has the best of singers. of course, this chick isn't so bad either.

@ComaLies225 Yeah, I listened to Warlock in the '80's with Doro. Tarja is not a goddess, but she is one of my favorite vocalists, even at 33. She has a control and harmonics in her voice that I really like.
