@dubmatic808 It's not entirely unscripted. There was a plan, but the actors kept cracking up mostly due to Baldwin and Del Toro. They couldn't keep it serious through even a single take.

Eventually they called it a day, with a very pissed off director left with what he thought was unusable footage. But the guy editing the movie came to the rescue, and cut it in the absolutely brilliant way we see here. Best save ever.

If you get the DVD and watch the special features it talks about them filming this scene. It actually took a whole day to film because the guys kept laughing while filming. They said they never got on take where they weren't laughing. While editing the movie Brian Singer, the director, thought that it actually worked with them laughing. It made the criminals seem more human.
