Gah, this song always chokes me up. This is exactly what feminism should be about - and I don't mean the fighting. It's about finding something that you care about and knowing that, no matter what your gender or anything, you can throw your whole self into it. Whether that's taking up the sword and protecting the ones you love, or anything else in this world, it doesn't matter. I'm so glad to see our positive female role models getting the attention they deserve. Love the song, love the video.

brilliant. i love it you used the best warrior womans. Kahlan is just awesome in LOS and Eowyn was always my favourite in LOTR and Mulan is just my favourite disney woman. And the awesome girls of my favourite tv-shows. Have you read "Song of the Lioness" by Tamora Pierce? Those are 4 novels about a girl who disguises herself as a boy to become a knight. They're full of adventures, magic and a bit romance too. :-)
