Morrissey has gotten rid of the majority of the stereotypical Manc speech patterns...but then he just slips one in randomly...it's sounds so weird coming from him.
@GDFullOn "Innit" is utterly stereotypically linked to Essex. I've never heard of it being uttered by Mancunians. As if Morrissey would slip up after nearly thirty years away. It is obvious from the tone of this and his inflection that it was an Essex based ridicule of Russell Brand's accent. Northerners say "Ain't it" and sound the T on the end of Ain't.
@GDFullOn it was clearly mocking Russell's essex accent, innit is a stereotypical feature of the dialect, maybe it is mancunian, too, I wouldn't know, but it is definitely said in Essex all the time
ive listened to all three parts an i may be deemed as sad,but i dont care cos nobody knows who iam,but i think its great hearing 2 grat minds talk to eachouther,i like the way morressy analizes russels ego with such bluntneesslol
Perhaps my comment on the previous interview part(3)was a little harsh towards Morrissey... Maybe he's just vile to begin with until he thaws a bit? Maybe he and Russell are friendly enough for him to be insulting and understood? Oh I don't know!
excellent interview - Moz is a unique man and Russell is lucky to have been accepted onto his 'liked' list.
After all the furore this week regarding Brand this kind of interview proves that the BBC should not have sacked him. Who else has managed to get Moz to relax like this over 25 years.

What do you mean? The phase "innit" said like that is something stereotypically Mancunian...not something from people in Essex.
I don't think that that is the reason that Moz slipped in the innit.

MOZ: "Do You Mind?"
Brand: "Not at all, why dont you fill the entire audience with musical icons so i cant relax, perhaps you could get Louie Armstrong to turn up"
LOL

I wonder what Moz's favourite flavour of crisps is. I'm guessing Cheese and Onion. Bit obvious but hey. .....Nuuuuuutttttttsssss.

oh my god, they have a remarkable chemistry. Should they're careers go stale, they could always create a double act, and tour.
