A magnificent performance of this work: The right tempos; the right touch; the right pedaling. I prefer your performance above all the others that came before it. Congratulations!
how did you do the black key glissando at 2:51? my book says to use the thumb but i cant do that really well. when i practice, i just use the tops of my fingernail areas and just roll it down but i dont think its gonna work well.
As for recommending UVic as a school choice, it really depends on the teacher, as it does for any school you choose for music. As for the school atmosphere, it's a great environment to be in. =)
It's certainly a lot more cost-effective than studying in the states..
I listen to the Jeux d'eau as I played it on this video and I'm actually a bit perturbed.. my interpretation of this piece has changed so much in the last year but I'm still relatively happy with my Prokofiev sonata since I last played it almost a year ago.

Was this your graduate recital or undergraduate recital?
(and would you recommend going to the Universiy of Victoria? I'm trying to decide where to apply for graduate school for piano performance)

hmm i really enjoyed 3:10-3:30 as for a bit after that i think with a better camera perhaps you could hear a more "bubbly" effect, but quite good

Ew. I hate how much time I am taking in this recording... I play it much differently now.

Excellent. I enjoyed your interpretation of this piece. This is one of my favorite pieces to perform as well.
