  • Buakaw kak

  • I was training muay thai till my nee cracked, and im going to train it after it will be okay.

but. the way buakaw fights, make's me wanna high kick old people :D

  • @chevalier433 - That is true what you say as far as advantages. But when speaking of a fighter like Zambidis ( which is the one you use as an example ), he's been fighting taller opponents most of his career. And he did a good job on most of the fights. But to say the only reason Buakaw beat Zambidis is because he's taller. Well, that's false Look at Saenchai, he's short too and all the people he fights are taller. Saenchai is the pound for pound king of Thailand.

  • @chevalier433 - That made no sense.. So the taller you are, the more superior you are?

  • Buakwa is a traditional fighter good power with all rankings but in K1 he cant do much..K1 need power and mind together...Giorgio petrosyan is one example...

  • @susithsx you probabaly never watched k-1 max before 2010??? LOL BUAKAW IS 2X CHAMPION SCKER!!!

  • 1:45 xD

  • 1:05 Nice sweep by Buakaw Deadly Fighter.

  • muay thai's got to be the manliest sport ever

  • holtzken has a good reach on buakaw.

  • For god sake please allow to use elbow! I guarantee that it'll be more fun!!!

  • Samart's one of the best at boxing out of Thailand

  • buakaws kicks are great but hecant box very well

  • none of the thai boxers are really that great at boxing. it's just the way they train, since punches don't really impress the judges in thailand. most of the fighters have really sloppy boxing except for a few like anuwat.

  • @mattgordon87 there is one.... yodseanklai!!!

  • why hitting with boxing gloves, thai are trained to hit elbow, kick.

  • yeah that´s right but in K1 you have to be good at kicking AND boxing

  • @wseturki4mo when kicking make you a champion then kick,Buakaw kicks a lots that why he is the greatest.Saying that he is not good at boxing make no sense. He just used the most effective weapon he has.

  • bwakaw please come to mma. i want to see real muay thai that is not from anderson silva

  • This guy Holtzken doesn't seem to be that bad actually. I think the problem in this fight was his timing. It just seemed like all of his counters were a bit too late..

  • didint even look lik he was tryin but gud on Nieky for getten in there. and sic as spin at 2;40!!! got frign lifted 1;03 tho! lol

  • The Natural is echt wel een goede vechter, hij gaat nog verkomen!!

++++ voor alle The Natural fans

  • buakaws muay thai is off the charts hes one of the reasons i started doing muay thai.

  • damn, he play dirty, is that you going to play dirty too, pal?

  • Same here! started training muay thai 3 weeks ago because of this guy!! my master has met him and he says thats what true talent looks like!

  • Comment removed

  • @RBJLfosho12 Same here bro. Love that dude.

  • Ever matched him? He has knocked out Souwer. Plus many would dispute what you say and claim that the judges were biased in at least one of the other fights.

Plus why are you hatin' on Buakaw. We're talking about the man that had an entire organization CHANGE THEIR RULES in order to keep him from winning.

  • +++++ for all u Buakaw fans

  • +++++ for all u Buakaw fans

  • Buakaw es mi inspiracion antes de cada combate, larga vida a este atleta

  • Buakaw the best!

  • yeah....his attack is powerless, maybe he didn't hav 'tongyam' before get into ring

  • buakaw bati muito, é o puro muay thai.

  • he mentions ajarn khan phady from canada at 5:51! i trained with him :)

  • Are they allowed to elbow?

  • No, elbows are not allowed in K1, they are in Muay thai. K1 also has restrictive clinching and leg holding rules. They get one strike from the clinch or a hold and then they are required to break. Buakaw scores 2 knockdowns with a muay thai style standing leg catch and throws.

  • @AIYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Nope. K1 and most Japanese fighting (Pride) does not allow it. Too much blood = no good for Japanese TV and also premature stoppage of fights.

  • nope, k-1 rules

  • love that at 1:02

  • Buakaw kept getting hit with those jabs in round one

  • @0:42 Buakaw looked bored. loll

  • @aa3gunner he looked bored throughout round one hahaha. especially how he just pushes Nieky over =D love it

  • I don't agree with your clinch comments at all.. Buakaw legs and knees are what separates him from the other fighters... he is just too slick .. pure Muay Thai

  • what weight this fight at?

  • think 72-80

  • @papajaba03 70kg or 154lbs, K-1 MAX (middleweight) limit.

  • Love the way Baukaw uses that Jab and lead teep..

it may not look it, but constantly having a foot pound off ur stomach fucking kills..

    5/5 baukaw pwns

  • люблю этого черта... =))))))))

  • those girls are always moaning, is phucking annoying

  • Buakaw eres el mejor luchador de muai thai del planeta, felicidades, y felicidades tambien por tu escuela Por. Pamuk

    ¡¡¡¡ Enhorabuena amigo desconocido...!!!!!

  • BUAKAW RZĄDZI !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • has anyone ever beaten this guy? i mean has he ever lost a fight? just paste the page i will appreciate.

  • Andy Souwer did, three times. Sato did. Masato did. Albert Kraus did it too.

Basically Buakaw loses against fighters who know how to deal with his constant violation of the clinch rule. The K1 judges themselves after all are too pussy to punish him for that, they'd lose too many ticket sales, so they let him.

  • Jup, it's no secret Buakaw is a fighter the people love to see and I can't blame them. But you said it completely right. Take his clinching out of the game and you have a good shot at beating him. That said it's not an easy thing to do.

  • the most fight he losses was robbery!!

he only loses 2 times that was against masato and sato

  • What? Seriously, try to count the points if you think that. Souwer beating him has always been with room to spare. The only time Buakaw ever matched him was when he had two easy fights, and Souwer two tough fights before their confrontation.

He even almost lost to Dida this year in the final 16, except that he could clinch against the rules to save himself and recover.

  • In their most recent match, Souwer hardly looked impressive against Buakaw in comparison to their past tournament bouts. And this time he was supposed to be "fresh", so you're argument doesn't hold much merit... especially when you consider the controversy over the decision. Many have argued that Buakaw did enough to win that match and Souwer was given the decision due to K-1's desire to match him up with Masato for his retirement fight and Buakaw's contract with K-1 expiring prior.

  • Those 'many' must have been fanboys of Buakaw then. The only amazing thing about that fight was they needed a 4th round to decide Souwer won.

And if anything was rigged about that tournament, it was to eliminate as many Dutch fighters as possible, and give Petrosyan the best odds of winning. That way, Petrosyan stands to increase his status, and the K1's ticket sales.

  • Actually, even those who watched the fight objectively expressed surprise that they gave the nod to Souwer.

Where are you getting your info from? K-1 never wanted Petrosyan to be champion. Tanikawa even explicitly stated prior to the tournament that he found his style to be "boring". Petrosyan was the least popular fighter in the tournament, it was the quietest crowd I've ever heard after a MAX champion had been crowned. He is the last person they expect to put people on seats...

  • @Blahb27 Andy Souwer did not beat him 3 times, only 2.

  • this guy under me suck balls

  • true

  • Buakaw, you are my hero...extremely high performance! You are the best fighter!

  • These guys are both amazing fighters give Nieky "The Natural" Holtzken some credit!!! he did a good job but BP is the man

  • Why doubt Buakaw. They introduced certain rules BECAUSE of Buakaw. If there were clinch, no foreigner would beat him. Buakaw is the hardest working fighter in the world, and the best Thai fighter in the world. He is fighting in a world of modified rules. Give him his rules, no one could stop him taking out the factor of a lucky punch. Buakaw is by far the best Muay Thai practitioner there is. No martial art beats traditional Muay Thai, hands down.

  • thats bullshit , its cuz western people dont want to see clinching but action , western people and japanese are k1s main viewers , clinching is only part of a fight in thailand , and that is also the reason why buakaw(born and trained in thailand) is so good at it , western fighters clinch to rest or block attacks and in thailands mau thai the fight contineus while clinching , but its not true thats its not allowed cuz of his skills for it !

  • For people who are saying that buakaw has lost motivation, it is not because he doesn't want to work hard, but it is because he's constantly getting robbed off his victory wherever to goes, most recent examples being his latest fight with kraus and andy.

  • yeah would have been nice to see him in the final, would have been far more interesting.

  • Anyone know where you can buy the K-1 gloves?

  • he's f-in visious! when i see buakaw fight he gives me the confidence to not worry in a fight

  • Too many arm-chair fighters here, who have no idea what anyone in the ring is doing. You don't know how hard anyone is hitting or getting hit, unless you're the one giving and taking the punches.

  • that's not quite true. You can predict how hard somebody beat one another based on his movements and the reaction of the person getting hit. And if you see the slowmotion replay you pretty much now how hard the punch was.

  • Baukaw best fighter out of thailand

  • maybe he's lost his motivation..maybe he is just overconfident

  • he definitely didnt fight with the viciousness and ferocious pace as he did when he battered and destroyed masato in 2004

  • Because he is not permitted to. The rules have changed significantly. He is a Muay Thai fighter. He trains and is surrounded in a Muay Thai camp by Muay Thai fighters. He can't clinch. It's not natural to want to clinch but he must control himself. That's why the tournament is different to watch this year.

  • that dumb fuck cant catch a push kick! or a jab for that matter, its kikboxing 101 geeeeezzzzzz

  • he lost to andy souwer a robbery i might add

  • he isnt even trying if you watch he is just like going 50 percent he can dip all that dudes shit but he is just half assing it watch his other fights and watch what he does in here sometimes he is good just half assing it 1 of my fav fighters he is prolly geting paid to not try

  • maybe he dont want to fight anymore, like a soldier who dont want to go to war.

  • buakaw looks a lil shaky....

  • I seriously think some Jap bastard ask Buakaw to put on a show rather than a real fight... Fuck entertainment!

  • if buakaw is still like that,, masato will kill him

  • in another life he would

  • does anyone know where buakaw's fighting spirit went, if u manage to find it plz giv it 2 him

  • i have a question, in k1 world max does sweeping ur opponent down like what buakaw did, does he score points for that?

  • yes

  • thanks :)

  • thats just to intimidate the opponent i guess

  • some how i think hes less aggressive than first years that he join K1. He needs a really professional coach and a bigger motivation

  • buakaw is really one of the best fighters to watch.

  • สู้ๆนะครับพี่บัวขาวคนไทยเป็นกำลังใจให้

  • oo nice kick at 2:45

  • Always jabing and front kicking, fast dodge and knees, what an intens second round and he just breath one time to save...HE IS TOO STRONG!!!

  • hard to attack Holtzken becuz his almost perfect guarding

  • Comment removed

  • ONG BAK + SAGAT = BUAKAW

  • Adon from SF Alpha + Ong Bak + Sagat

  • Bruce from Tekken + Adon + Ong Bak + Sagat = BUAKAW

  • ong bak is not the guys name its tony jaa

  • Buakaw is a master now. He has so freakin much experience behind his back. No doubt he can manage against any opponent.

  • Круто!

  • i Understand everything the Asian DUde in the crowd saying

  • Buakaw is a BEAST!!

  • Buakaw just LOVES that front push kick haha

  • a great example of "controling an opponent" from buakaw.

  • kicking on the dick?? Do u think that the judges wouldn't see that? Do you think that the MAN in front of him could bear it like it was nothing? Let me explain you something kid: men have bowls you get kicked on it you get down on the floor.

    Now please buy some glasses...

  • just watch it bunch of faggot, mga tang ina nyo, ang da2l nio pra kaung mga bakla

  • I have a question. Does anyone know if Buakaw is a respectable and or nice guy? Thanks!

  • hahah buakaw is a really nice guy, but you can see in the ring he is a difference person :) he's going from a nice guy to a killer machine :)

  • I would like to see Buakaw against Kyshenko, both seem to be full judo black belt, hahaeh.

    Would be a great fight!

  • i think buakaw is gonna get title AGAIN for the third time

  • I Like both fighter but buakaw is a more smarter fighter.Don't have to do to much to win that's what smart fighter do.

  • lol round 2 was hilarious. he just kept jab kicking the dude and he had no response to it.

  • all the tatoo's dont make you stronger :)

  • LOL i NEVER seen a guy with a shitload of tatoos ever be good/win in ANY fight under ANY rules in ANY org haha

  • You must've never heard of Aleksander Emelianenko.

  • what about him? u act like nobody has ever heard of mma

  • You obviously haven't, judging by your previous post. A quick google search isn't enough to hide your ignorance, buddy.

  • uh, judging by my post? i dont care if you think i dont know anything about the emelianenko bros. wtf does aleks have to do with nieky sucking balls and ass?

  • Aleks has nothing to with Nieky. But criticizing a fighters' skill just by their tattoos is absurd. You say you've "never" seen a fighter who has them, that's actually won a fight, yet you apparently know Aleksander Emelianenko? Give me a break, you aren't fooling anyone. Those who bash fighters are ignorant on the sport and likely have never stepped foot in a ring themselves. I know for a fact you'd never say that infront of Nieky's face, only behind the safety of your computer screen. Moron.

  • wow internet guy do you take everything this seriously? and yes, aleks has a good record, but who has he beaten that was good? can you name other fighters with a shitload of tattoos that are great? most good fighters aren't swarmed in tattoos. its ok to be wrong, faggot

  • Lol, what a paradox you've created. First you say you've never seen a fighter with many tattoos actually win fights. So I name you one, and now you're unable to accept that you were wrong. Ok, you want other ones; Jeff Monson? Tyrone Spong? Ricardo Arona?... Ever hear of them? Take your own advice, and think before you type something stupid next time.

  • LMAO @ those examples. ricardo arona and tyrone sprong, fine. arona hasnt done much recently and he was good in pride, i like him and i also think he beat fedor in RINGS. but jeff monson? LOL

  • Arona just won a fight against Marvin Eastman very recently. He's an undefeated Champion in Abu Dhabi and Monson is a two-time Champion in ADCC. If you're honestly trying to discredit Monson's grappling skills, you're in enough denial already. Just like this discussion should've been over after my first response, now you're only rationalizing to prolong the fact you can't admit you're wrong. I only needed to name one fighter to contradict your first post and I ended up giving you 4. So STFU now.

  • Abu dhabi doesn't mean shit. monson fights nobodys and beats them wowzers. lets name fighters with not-many/no tattoos that are good then? queer

  • "LOL i NEVER seen a guy with a shitload of tatoos ever be good/win in ANY fight under ANY rules in ANY org haha"

You asked for it and you got it. I don't care if you think Abu Dhabi is shit, previously you didn't even know good fighters with tattoos other than Nieky, even existed. How do you expect me to take your opinions on the subject with any credibility? The more you post, the more ignorant and pathetic you come off as. Learn about the sport before posting stupidity.

  • hi fag, have fun jacking off to ricardo arona and nieky tattoos. that is all.

  • holtzken needed to avoid those leg jag..

  • Buakaw .. You are the best. We Thai are proud in you. Yeah!!!!!

  • i didnt know japanese and didnt know korean, but i know the korean comentators are way better because they know when to scream and enphatize the fight, no matter the fighter's nationality, japanese comentators only scream when a japanese fighter lands a combination no matter if it connected

  • Definitely agree with you thatthe Korean commentators are very lively. Too bad there are no english subtitles. :-(

  • yeah, just like english commentators do when england plays another nation.

  • lulz You can not with stand the teep of gawd.

  • Buakaw didn' t want to hurt him.

the next fight will be against Andy Souwer ? ( i hope Buakaw will eat him )

  • Nicky prepared great deal & improved alot since 07. He is well prepared. He knew he had to eat alot of kicks to get inside and got in several times. he did well. However, buakaw smart enough to keep him distance to avoid mistakes. At the same time, keep dominating and move forward. The goal was to win. There was no point of risking. The real goal is up a head - the title. Good thing bout now aday is that each round you know who wins or loses. So this determines how hard u need to do each round.

  • Holtzken say that he win the fight in a interview :-S

  • lol!! on HOLTZKEN!! hes trying 2 copy buakaw coz he noes his own way of fighting is shit lol!!

  • Show some respect. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

This wasn't Buakaw dominating Nieky in the slightest. Arguably the first round could have gone to the latter, whilst in the second Buakaw was merely keeping Nieky at a distance.

Buakaw's a great fighter, and he certainly isn't trying his best, but Nieky doesn't deserve a stupid comment like yours.

  • did u see 1:43? that was so gay and is a testament to how shitty nieky is

  • 2:41 ouchies!!! X_X

  • This fight is a great example of how to control an opponent. I see a lot of comments about how Buakaw didn't do his normal volume and intensity, but if Holtzken can't even get past his front leg teep, why waste energy? Save the body and the energy for the final. Ush!

  • Buakaw is the Rocky of K1 while all the other fighters are like Drago from Rocky IV

  • What Buakaw is also very good in, is kicking powerful with the front leg. A lot of K1 fighters are only kickin with their rear legs.

But Buakaw has really tons of thunder in his front leg, too. Using the front leg gives him even a shorter way when he attacks. I like that. Another fighter, I don't like, but who has a very good front leg too, is Glaube Feitosa. But not only of his weight, but more of his lame fighting style he shouldn't be compared to such a whirlwind like Buakaw.

  • Those who have seen buakaw since the year 2004 understand what he hast to do become the champion again. More ambition, agression and more keeping the distance so none is able to hurt him.

  • And I think, he has to be more loose with his legs again. Back then he fired much more kicks, and much faster and in a bigger volume. But hey, let's face it, everybody is gettin older :)

And the bodies of the fighters in the lighter weight classes get older and spent sooner than those of the heavy boys, because of a much higher output and receiving ratio. And I think Buakaw has problems to adapt, to have a plan B if plan A does not work. Still I like him a lot.

  • Buakaw had a right ankle injury going into this fight which is why he didn't throw a lot of right kicks.

  • It's sad to see buakaw getting more punches to his head than ever before. He's even got knocked out once and knocked down twice in less than two years. I think he thought he is a great boxer after the win in 2006 max but his secret back then was a great mix of kicks and punches.

Love to see him in the finals this year but also afraid that he'll get his ass kicked by souwer who's been training his leg work continuesly.

  • Yo i think buakaw could be much more effective with real muay thai rules, too. Elbows and so on..

  • its not that easy to hit a top k1 fighter with a difficult technique like the round house. this can have bad consequences..

    buakaw the immortal legend!!!
