Once your quit paying people to do your shit for you, rather then learning the trade, it pays off.

Theres 10k, now another 1500 or so for the head, 3-4k for the turbo set up, another 1k for the fuel system, 3k for the trans build to hold the power your now making, 1k for a clutch that wont slip with 500tq. Thats 20k and you have even touch the car yet. 1k for seats, 1k for tuner, sensors, and gauges.

So theres easy another couple grand in small stuff that adds up in a hurry. Clamps, gaskets, drill bits to remove the stud you just broke off, new oem quality bolts and etc. It adds up. I wouldnt doubt that this guy has 30k into this car. Is that a bad thing though? Hell no, not if its what you love doing.
