Mazdaspeed3 Hks Bov and Synapse Bov

I need help please... I drive a 08 Speed3 and I have a TS bpv installed, properly no leaks. Is it normal for me to have that I guess second blow off. If anyone could view the video I posted a while back and give me their thoughts I would really appreciate it! Only mods I have are Speed cai, the TS bpv, 3'' turboback Speed exhaust, and a FMIC. No tune yet but getting there. I really need help, It's been months and I still can't figure out what is going on... Could it be Normal perhaps?!?

I have an hks and love it. U dont realize ur not holding boost until u get an aftermarket bov. after I put it in, I was amazed that my car totally pulled harder. The stock plastic bypass valves are junk.

I own a speed3 - whats the advantage to a blow off valve other than the sound it makes? any hp gains or is it purely cosmetic? It seems to be a popular thing to do. I personally like the sound of the turbo in my stock and think i would get annoyed with the louder hiss after a while...

@GoHeats If its a recirculating BOV then it will make a flutter. People confuse it with the CS. Its the sound of the reciculated air reentering the system. Some people like to scare others saying its compressor surge, my turbo has a recirculating BOV for 4 years now makes the flutter when the gas pedal is realeased and has never gone wrong. CS occurs when the gas pedal is depressed, the air is rejected by the engine and backs up into the system and runs into the spooling turbine.

u bought two recurculated bovs but yet didnt even recurculate anything fail.... ur a RICER you could have bought a better sounding bov if you were not gonna reconnect that hose.

im sure your running over 7psi. ore maybe not. but your supposed to have the vacuum nipple on the side of the bov hooked to a pressure source, like the compressor housing or intercooler pipe closest to the turbo

Sound like the valve open a bit too late (HKS)..compressor surge.

The flutter-like sound is from opening of secondary valve under high-pressure release condition. That's why you hear one distinct release sound when he is not revving much, but two distinct release sound after moderate load to the engine.

I like how the white really shows off the black tinted head & taillights. I usually don't like white cars but, it looks great on the MS3. Your Speed3 sounds nice with the BOV.
