@deathsych *twitch* I hope you're joking. As a general rule, it's not a Castlevania game unless it has some version of "Vampire Killer", "Bloody Tears", or "Beginning". Look them up on Youtube, you should be able to find all the different remixes from each game. Which are incidentally epic.

try playing castlevania 3 dracula's curse and then rondo of blood/dracula X... you will notice a HUGE diference in gameplay.

@igknightus, I know that I am not part of the conversation, but can I ask you a question? In several Castlevania games, the Vampire Killer glows blue and red when you attack with it. Is that the Vampire Soul or is it like plasma or something (that would explain why a lot of enemies burn when hit by the Vampire Killer). Also, Leon's wife is called Sara, not ennet. the original vampire killer is the leather whip (default) and the powerups you find along the way just strengthen it. @igknightus is right, according to Lament, the whip doesnt become the vampire killer until its fused with his wife's "tanted" soul. how killer is that for a twist!

you could get it on an emulator, since you already bought the game it shouldbe legal, you probarly wouldn't want too though since it wouldn't be portable and you would have to unlock everything again. You could hack your psp and get it like that but you can't have latest firmware

Yeah. Vampire Killer is a whip but in older Castlevanias the best possible vampire killer is kinda whip with a ball at the end. Richter uses the best possible vampire killer lvl.

That is the whip. =/ The Vampire Killer has a lot of different versions. Sometimes it's a leather whip in certain Castlevania games, sometimes it's a steel whip. I wish they would just stick to one version, preferably the leather whip.

well in the classic castlevania games u will start out with a normal whip and the first candle u hit makes your whip into some sort of metal chain with a iron ball with spikes whip.
